Stark County

6-6 – James R. Stuckey, 52, LaFayette, was ticketed for allowing dog(s) to run at large. He was issued a notice to appear.
6-7 – A domestic battery incident was handled in the 300 block of Railroad St. in Speer. Arrested were Carrie L. Burns, 33, Chillicothe and Kyle J. Lewis, 41, of Speer. The pair were both charged with domestic battery and were later released with notices to appear.
6-8 – Carl P. Porter, 44, Wyoming, was arrested for driving while his license was suspended, disobeying a stop sign, unlawful display of plates and driving without vehicle insurance. He posted $250 cash bond and was released with a court date to appear.
6-10 – Leslie D. Troutwine, 60, Toulon, was cited for driving without a license. He was issued a court date to appear.

Officer dispatched:

6-6 – to the 400 block of SE 2nd St. for a wild animal complaint involving an opossum that had entered a living room. Officer was able to use a fishing net and relocate the animal.
6-6 – to the 500 block of E. Division St. for a loose-dog complaint. Dog was picked up by its owner.
6-6 – to the 300 block of NE 2nd St. for a disturbance involving an out-of-control juvenile.
6-7 – to the 500 block of Industrial Ave., to speak with a citizen in regards to questions about purchasing an E-bike.
6-7 – to speak with a subject in the 100 block of NE 1st St., in reference to an ongoing ordinance violation.
6-8 – along with the Fire Department and Stark County Medic to a two-vehicle accident a couple of miles north of town. Henry County Sheriff’s Office handled the report.
6-8 – to a loose dog complaint in the 1000 block of NW 5th Ave. As the result, Robert Kremer, 61, Galva, was issued a city ordinance citation for allowing a dog to run at large.
6-8 – to the 500 block of SE 2nd St. in reference to an abandoned vehicle that was parked there. Officer spoke to the owner and the car was removed.
6-9 – to a residence on NW 8th Ave. for an activated medical alarm that had been activated three times. The resident was fine.
6-9 – to the 300 block of Commercial St. for an abandoned vehicle left on private property. The vehicle owner called the property owner and made arrangements to have it removed.
6-11 – Wyatt Nusser, 25, Johnsburg, Ill., was arrested for operating a vehicle with suspended registration in the 800 block of SE 2nd St. He was released with a required court date.
6-11 – Officer flagged down by a resident near Wiley Park in reference to a complaint involving subjects not cleaning up after their pets in the park.
6-11 – to rural Bishop Hill to assist Henry County with a missing 3-year-old who wandered away from home. The child was located safe after about 25-30 minutes.
6-11 – to the 300 block of NE 1st Ave. for a stolen license plate report.
6-12 – to watch for a vehicle that was involved in a hit-and-run in Kewanee. Officer did not locate.
6-12 – to the 700 block of NW 7th Ave. for a suspicious vehicle complaint. Vehicle was gone upon the officer’s arrival.
6-12 – to an illegal burning complaint in the 600 block of NW 1st Ave. The fire was put out and the resident advised of the ordinance and the corrrect days to burn.
6-12 – to assist Henry County with a suicidal subject threatening to jump off the Galva viaduct west of town.
6-11 – Noel Mara Vallo, 24, Oswego, Ill., was issued a citation for speeding in the 1200 block of SE 2nd St.
6-11 – John Debeck, 55, Luxemburg, Wis., was issued a citation for speeding in the 1100 block of SE 2nd St.
6-11 – Chad Kubec, 27, Galva, was issued a citation for operating a vehicle with expired registration in the 100 block of SE 2nd St.

Peoria County Report
6-9 – Kyra D. Comer, 24, of Toulon was arrested at 7:45 p.m. June 9 and accused of unlawful possession of a controlled substance, criminal trespass to land, resisting/obstructing an officer, unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia and unlawful possession of hypodermic syringes, according to the Peoria County Sheriff’s Office.
6-11 – An Edelstein woman was injured in a two-vehicle rollover accident east of Dunlap. At about 3 p.m., Joyce L. Dremann was driving a 2019 Hyundai utility vehicle south on Route 40 at Bristol Hollow Road when its driver’s-side rear was clipped by a 2012 Mercedes-Benz sedan driven by Christina M. Becraft of Dunlap, according to the Peoria County Sheriff’s Office. Becraft was westbound on Bristol Hollow Road. A witness said Dremann’s vehicle went off the pavement, then flipped twice. Dremann complained of neck and shoulder pain and was transported to a Peoria hospital. Her condition wasn’t available. Her vehicle was towed.
