The incident was reported shortly before 7:30 p.m. May 24. The Weekly Post and The Prairie News will not publish a June 11/12 edition. We will be taking our annual summer vacation this week. Our offices will be closed from Friday, June 5 through Thursday, June 11. We will resume operations and our offices will be open, as normal, on Friday June 12. Princeville updated on projects
By ANDY LATORAFor The Weekly Post PRINCEVILLE – Chad Gardner likely reached his pitch count Monday night at the Princeville Board of Trustees meeting at Village Hall. Gardner, Princeville’s superintendent of public works, updated the board on the progress of projects underway in the village. The update was lengthy, but for good reason. Gardner had been absent from the twice-a-month board meetings for a bit since he’s also the softball coach at Princeville High School.
