7-16 – Percy I. Payton, 48, Peoria, ticketed for speeding 76 mph in a 55 zone and driving with no insurance.
7-23 – An abandoned motorcycle was found along Sharkey Highway south of Wyoming. Authorities had the 1988 Harley Davidson towed and impounded until the owner is located.
7-25 – December R. Tracy, 18, Toulon, was cited for failure to wear a seat belt and driving an uninsured vehicle and issued a notice to appear.
7-27 – Felicia P. Warner, 36, Kewanee, cited for driving on expired registration and issued a notice to appear.
7-27 – A domestic battery incident was reported from the 500 block of N. Culbertson St. in Toulon. The incident is being investigated.
7-27 – Two Toulon residents in the 200 block of S. East Street reported being victims of an identity theft.
7-27 – Miriam C. Bonilla, 30, Kewanee, was cited for driving on a suspended registration and without vehicle insurance. She was released with a notice to appear.
7-28 – A Wyoming business reported to the Stark County Sheriff’s Office of being a victim of a cyber-attack. The incident remains under investigation.
7-28 – Jacob D. Tramutolo, 22, Bradford, was arrested for domestic battery. He was taken into custody and transported to Stark County Jail.
7-28 – Beatrice L. Morales, 39, Kewanee, was cited for speeding 70 mph in a 55 zone and for driving a vehicle with a suspended registration due to non-insurance.
7-29 – Allanah M. Kieswetter, 22, Sheffield, was ticketed for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, illegal use of cannabis by a driver, illegal transportation of alcohol by a driver and driving too fast for conditions.
7-29 – Kasey H. Main, 30, LaFayette, was cited for possession of a cellphone in his hand while driving and driving an uninsured vehicle.
7-30 – Jerome L. Tuckson, 26, St. Louis, Mo., was cited for improper lane usage, driving while license suspendd and for a counterfeit registration plate. He posted $250 cash bond and was released with a court date.

Peoria County Report
7-20 – A Stark County man grabbed a Peoria County Sheriff’s Office deputy by the arm during a domestic dispute in Elmore, according to authorities. Charles K. Rice, 36, of Wyoming was arrested about 5:30 p.m. July 20 at a residence in the 24300 block of W. Adams St. A woman there asked two deputies to stand watch while she and at least two children left.

Rice became increasingly agitated, according to a sheriff’s-office report. He challenged one deputy to a fight, then grabbed the other deputy. The deputies pulled Rice down and handcuffed him. Rice was accused of obstructing police and resisting arrest.

Knox County Report

7-6 – A Galva woman was arrested after she broke into a residence and took her 3-year-old daughter without the father’s permission, according to a witness. Franziska J. Hurliman, 30, was accused of criminal trespass to real property in connection with the incident, which happened shortly before 9 a.m. July 6 in the 1900 block of Knox Road 2900 North, according to the Knox County Sheriff’s Office.

A custody order was not in place, the report stated. The child was with Hurliman when a deputy located her at a campground near Victoria. After Hurliman was arrested, a relative took custody of the child.

7-24 – to the 300 block of NE 9th St. for a dog-bite complaint. A local medical facility had called and advised a subject who had been bitten by their own family dog.

7-25 – As the result of a traffic stop in the 300 block of N. Center Ave., Justin Smith, 19, Wataga, was arrested for operating a vehicle when registration was suspended for no insurance and operating an uninsured vehicle. He was released with a court date.

7-26 – to transport a 46-year-old male to a nearby town.

7-26 – to 100 block of S. Center Ave. for a theft complaint. A 51-year- old reported the loss of $100.

7-27 – to the 900 block of W. Division St. for a city ordinance violation. Complainant advised bags of household trash was accumulating in the backyard. Officer spoke with a 38-year-old female resident who said she would have the trash removed soon.

7-27 – Officers handled a child custody dispute complaint at Sentry Estates. A 38-year- old female was requesting the return of her daughter from the daughter’s father. The exchange was completed peacefully.

7-28 – to the 400 block of NW 5th St. for a report of a dog outside without shelter or water. Galva was under a heat advisory. Officer located a black dog confined in a side yard with no shelter. Contact was made with a resident and the dog was immediately taken inside.

7-28 – to W. Division St. and SW 9th Ave. for a tree down causing a road hazard; and to 500 block of SE 4th St. for a report of downed utility lines and tree limbs.

7-28 – to the 100 block of NE 9th St in the early morning hours for a domestic dispute between a 36-year-old male and his 62-year-old mother.

7-29 – Officer on patrol discovered a citizen burning unauthorized items in the 300 block of SE 7th Ave. The citizen was warned of the violation.

7-30 – to the Galva Park District for a report of juveniles operating motorcycles on the park grounds. =It was discovered that one of the juveniles crashed a motorcycle into a fence causing minor injury to the juvenile. The motorcycle was removed from the park prior to the officer’s arrival. Contact with juvenile’s parent/guardian was made and a warning issued.

7-25 – Austin Zerfass, 24, Peoria, was issued a citation for speeding in the 1100 block of SE 2nd St.

7-25 – Adam Karlosky, 30, Standard, was issued a citation for having expired registration in the 500 block of SE 2nd St.

7-25 – Emma LaFollette, 20, Kewanee, was issued a citation for speeding in the 1000 block of SW 2nd St.

7-25 – A 17-year-old Galva resident was issued a citation for speeding in the 1000 block of SE 2nd St.

7-25 – Leah Anderson, 25, Galva, was issued a citation for operating uninsured vehicle on Chester Street at Commercial Street.
