• PRINCEVILLE – An Edwards woman sustained a broken ankle and forearm lacerations in a one-vehicle accident south of Princeville.
Isobel Schlueter was transported to OSF Saint Francis Medical Center in Peoria following the accident, which happened about 1:30 a.m. Aug. 2 at Legion Hall and Mendenhall roads.
Schlueter and a male had been inside a 2014 Ford Focus that left Legion Hall Road at a curve and struck a stand of trees. The impact cut one tree in half, according to a Peoria County Sheriff’s Office report. The vehicle sustained significant damage and was towed.
The male sustained minor facial injuries and was taken to St. Francis.
Schlueter was cited for driving 11 to 14 mph over the speed limit and for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident.
• PRINCEVILLE – A Princeville man was accused of violating an order of protection.
A Peoria County Sheriff’s Office deputy was dispatched about 9 a.m. Aug. 6 to a residence in the 500 block of W. Spring St. Jesse L. Rosas, 36, was apprehended about 45 minutes later and two blocks away, according to a sheriff’s-office report.
The victim is from Princeville. The stalking/no-contact order against Rosas was issued Aug. 1, the report stated. Rosas was transported to the Peoria County Jail.
• KICKAPOO – A Brimfield woman required hospital attention following a two-vehicle crash east of Kickapoo. Kristina M. Porter was driving a westbound 2014 Nissan Rogue shortly before 5 p.m. Aug. 2 on U.S. Route 150 west of Gilles Road when a 2017 Jeep Renegade rear-ended her vehicle, according to a Peoria County Sheriff’s Office report. Samuel A. Larson of Brimfield was the other driver.
A vehicle in front of Porter’s stopped suddenly to turn left, according to both drivers and a witness, and Larson was unable to avoid the collision. Porter, who was in pain, was transported to OSF Saint Francis Medical Center in Peoria. Larson was uninjured. His vehicle sustained disabling damage and was towed.
• HANNA CITY – A Yates City man was accused of assaulting a female. Larry D. Maricle, 53, was arrested shortly before 6 p.m. July 26 in connection with an incident in the 9400 block of W. Farmington Rd. in Hanna City, according to a heavily redacted Peoria County Sheriff’s Office report. Maricle was charged with domestic battery and taken to the Peoria County Jail.
• PRINCEVILLE – A Princeville-area resident reported three firearms were stolen from his or her residence.
A heavily redacted Peoria County Sheriff’s Office report did not identify the victim nor a potential suspect in the apparent burglary, which took place in the 12500 block of W. Mendell Rd. The victim summoned a deputy about 5:15 p.m. July 25.
Reported missing were a Remington 1911 R1 semi-automatic pistol valued at $650, a Beretta 92FS semi-automatic pistol valued at $450 and a Smith & Wesson revolver valued at $350.
• FARMINGTON – A Farmington man wanted by Fulton County authorities resisted arrest and possessed a stun gun illegally.
Eric F. Brand, 43, was apprehended shortly after 8 p.m. July 24 in the zero block of N. Cone St. A Farmington police officer’s check revealed Brand had an outstanding warrant for failure to register as a violent offender against youth.
When three officers attempted to arrest Brand, he stiffened one of his arms, refused to put his hands behind his back and pulled away, according to a police report. Eventually, the officers handcuffed Brand and found a Jaguar Imports L-100 miniature stun gun in one of his pockets.
In addition to the existing Fulton County charge, Brand was accused of possessing a stun gun without having a valid FOID card and resisting or obstructing a peace officer. Brand was transported to the Fulton County Jail in Lewistown.
• PRINCEVILLE – Shortly before 10:30 p.m. June 18, Amanda N. Humes of Canton was driving a 2014 Volkswagen Passat in the 10000 block of Legion Hall Rd. south of Princeville when the vehicle struck a raccoon. Humes was uninjured, a Peoria County Sheriff’s Office report stated. The animal caused minor damage to the vehicle.
• EDWARDS – Gabriel J.E. Rynearson, 21, of Edwards was arrested at noon Aug. 3 and accused of failure to appear in court, according to the Peoria County Sheriff’s Office.

• ELMWOOD – Chief Aaron Bean reported the following Elmwood Police Department activity for July: Four traffic stops, five warnings and nine reports.
• WILLIAMSFIELD – Chief James Robertson reported the following Williamsfield Police Department activity for July: two suspicious incidents, one disturbance, one missing adult, one fireworks complaint, two persons down and no citations issued.
