Stark County Report:
2-26-20 – A two-vehicle accident occurred on Route 78 and 600 N. Drivers involved were Samual E. Fritz, 21, of Peoria and Kraig L. Vogt, 67, of Kewanee. No injuries were reported but Fritz was ticketed for making an improper U-turn on a curve or hill. Both vehicles sustained damages estimated over $1,500.
2-22-20 – Penny J. Wells, 41, Wyoming, was arrested for unlawful display of a license plate on a vehicle, and for disobeying a stop sign. She was later released on a $1,500 personal recognizance bond and issued a court date to appear.
2-25-20 – Karyssa L. Helg, 28, Kewanee, was arrested on two outstanding warrants including one from Henry County for failure to appear for unlawful use of a weapon, and for illegal transportation of alcohol by a passenger. She was also wanted on a Peoria County warrant for failure to appear on a shoplifting charge. She was later extradited by authorities to the Henry County jail.
2-25-20 – A reckless driving complaint was reported to authorities by a school bus driver for the Stark County School District.
2-29-20 – Allison L. Mielke, 23, Peoria, was arrested for driving while her license was suspended. She posted $250 cash bond and released with a court date to appear.
