Stark County

10-7 – Payton M. Rose, of rural Kewanee, reported her 2018 Dodge truck with a homemade trailer was stolen. The incident remains under investigation but the vehicle was later reported as recovered.
10-7 – Cassidy Baxter, 24, Bradford, cited for speeding 52 mph in a 40 zone.
10-10 – A 17-year-old Princeville teen cited for speeding 75 mph in a 55 zone.
10-10 – Kyle J. Bird, 21, Princeville, cited for driving on an expired registration. He was issued a court date.
10-10 – Reese G. Miller, 30, Walnut, cited for driving on an expired registration and issued a court date.
10-10 – Olivia P. Winter, 19, Peoria, was cited for speeding 71 mph in a 55 zone.
10-11 – Art Witte, Toulon, reported being a victim of an identity theft.
10-11 – Mercedes S. Strong, 23, Peoria, ticketed for driving on a suspended driver’s license. She was issued a court date.
10-12 – Zachary D. Diehl, 23, Milledgeville, ticketed for speeding 84 mph in a 55 zone. He was issued a court date.
Peoria County report
10-11 – Travis C. Kelly, 28, of Speer was arrested shortly before 10:30 a.m. and accused of domestic battery/bodily harm, according to the Peoria County Sheriff’s Office.
10-11 – Robert Turnbull, 38, of Toulon was arrested shortly before 8:30 p.m. and accused of domestic battery/physical contact, according to the Peoria County Sheriff’s Office.

Officer dispatched:

10-8 – to the 200 block of SE 4th St. for a fraud/internet scam complaint.
10-8 – to the 200 block of NW 7th Ave. for a theft complaint.
10-8 – to the Galva Park District for a complaint involving a depressed juvenile trying to harm himself.
10-9 – to assist the ambulance with a medical emergency on Exchange Street.
10-9 – to meet with a complainant at the Galva PD in reference to a scam she fell victim to in reference to booking a flight with American Airlines.
10-9 – to assist Henry County with a physical altercation between students on a Galva school bus on County Highway 5 at 650 North.
10-9 – along with the ambulance to the 300 block of NW 4th Ave for a choking victim. The item was dislodged before help arrived.
10-9 – As the result of a traffic stop in the 200 block of SW 3rd St., Alan Gardiner-Atkinson, 69, was cited for operating a vehicle when registration was suspended for mandatory insurance and operating an uninsured vehicle. He was released with a court date.
10-9 – Officer was notified about a vehicle repossession taking place at Sentry Estates. The vehicle was removed without incident.
10-10 – to the 300 block of Main St. for a two-vehicle accident with damage only. The drivers exchanged insurance information after their vehicles suffered minor damage.
10-10 – to the 1100 block of NW 5th Ave. for a loose-dog complaint. The dog was impounded and found to belong to a subject from rural Bishop Hill. The dog was returned to its owner.
10-10 – to assist Henry County with a suicide by handgun at a rural address several miles east of town.
10-11 – to the 300 block of Front St. for a domestic disturbance.
10-11 – to the 00 block of NE 9th St. for a theft complaint of items from a garage sale.
10-11 – along with the fire department to the 600 block of SE Industrial Ave. for a grass fire.
10-11 – to the 200 block of NE 2nd St. for a juvenile complaint involving kids throwing rocks at houses. Officer was not able to locate them.
10-11 – to the Galva Cemetery for a domestic disturbance in a passing vehicle that had pulled into the cemetery. Knox County was advised of the complaint.
10-12 – to speak with a subject by telephone about a Medicare scam she received by telephone.
10-12 – to the 300 block of Front St. for a harassing phone calls/social media complaint.
10-12 – to the 00 block of SW 4th Street for a theft complaint.
10-13 – to the 100 block of SW 7th St. to meet a subject requesting a civil standby to retrieve property.
10-13 – to the 200 block of NE 1st St. for a criminal damage to property complaint involving broken windows.
10-13 – to the 700 block of NW 1st Ave. for a neighbor dispute.
10-13 – to the 400 block of NW 2nd Ave. for a barking-dog complaint. As a result, Courtney Turner, 31, Galva, was issued an administrative warning ticket for allowing a dog to bark.
10-13 – Brian Dennis, 19, Altona, cited for speeding in the 1000 block of SW 2nd St.
10-13 – A 17-year-old Galva juvenile was cited for speeding in the 1300 block of SE 2nd St.
