Peoria County Report
4-6 – Joshua T. Humes, 42, of Wyoming was arrested shortly after 5:15 p.m. April 6 and was being held for another law-enforcement agency for failure to appear in court, according to the Peoria County Sheriff’s Office.

Stark County
4-1 – Alli N. Dennison, 24, Toulon, was cited for operation of an uninsured vehicle and driving on suspended registration due to mandatory insurance. She was issued a court date to appear.
4-2 – Madisen T. Thomas, 23, East Peoria, was cited for driving with electronic communication device in hand, operating an uninsured vehicle, and speeding 66 mph in a 55 zone.
4-2 – Joshua R. Sneed, 44, Sun City, Ariz., was ticketed for failure to wear a seat belt and speeding 82 mph in a 55 zone.
4-2 – Destiny M. Finney, 24, Kewanee, was cited for driving with electronic communication device in hand.
4-4 – A single vehicle accident was reported in the 200 block of Williams Street in Wyoming. The accident occurred on private property and involved the driver Justin C. Potter, 34, of Wyoming. The 2017 Honda Civic sustained estimated damages of over $1,500 and reportedly struck a utility pole. No tickets were issued, and no injuries were reported.
4-5 – An abandoned vehicle was reported to authorities after a passing motorist noticed the vehicle appeared to have hit a tree on Illinois Route 93 east of Elmira. The accident is under investigation and the vehicle was towed to the Stark County impound.
4-6 – Berurya A. McCullough, 41, Bradford, was ticketed for driving on a suspended registration.
4-6 – Donna J. Bantz, 36, Toulon, was cited for improper lane usage.
4-6 – James T. Glasgo, 76, Tremont, cited for illegal cell phone while driving.
4-6 – Kaeleigh R. McKinney, 20, Kewanee, cited for driving an uninsured vehicle. She was released with a court date to appear.
4-7 – Chuck W. Kirk, 40, Canton, ticketed for driving while license was revoked and for driving a vehicle with a loud and defective exhaust.

Galva Report
Officer dispatched:
4-1 – to meet a resident at the Galva Police Department for a noise complaint involving neighborhood vehicles driving recklessly late at night.
4-1 – to a residence on SW 4th Street for a suicidal subject. Stark County Medic also responded and transported the subject.
4-1 – Jaxon Schultz, 19, East Galesburg, cited for speeding in the 400 block of S. Center Ave.
4-2 – to assist Stark County Medic with a medical emergency on NW 7th St.
4-2 – to the 00 block of SW 2nd St. for a disturbance complaint.
4-3 – to the 600 block of SE 2nd St. to assist the fire department after a complaint of a natural gas odor. The odor was confirmed and Ameren was notified.
4-3 – to the 100 block of NE 9th St. to remove an unwanted subject. As a result, Jeffrey McBride, 28, Wyoming, was arrested on a Whiteside County warrant for driving while license revoked. There was no bond. McBride was transported to the Henry County jail.
4-3 – to the 00 block of SW 4th St. for a civil property dispute.
4-4 – to the 100 block of NW 8th Ave. for a possible intruder trying to gain access into residence. The officer checked the surroundings and determined an outer storm door was swinging and slamming in the wind.
4-4 – to assist the U.S. Marshal fugitive apprehension task force arrest a Galva resident on a nationwide warrant in the 1100 block of SE 2nd St. As the result, Shannon Williams, 48, of Galva, was arrested on a Motrovia, Calif., warrant for rape-by force/fear. He was unable to post the $550,000 cash bail and was transported to the Henry County jail to await extradition to California.
4-4 – While patrolling, an officer saw a dog running loose with the owner close behind it in the 800 block of NE 3rd Ave. The dog was captured and returned home.
4-5 – Officer met with a juvenile driver from a traffic complaint last week. As the result, a 16-year-old juvenile was issued a juvenile referral to court services for the charge of criminal damage to property.
4-5 – While patrolling on NW 7th Ave., an officer recognized a subject known to have a warrant. After confirming the warrant, Larry Colwell, 31, of Galva, was arrested on a Henry County warrant for failing to appear on a charge of driving under the influence of alcohol. His warrant had no bond so he was transported to the Henry County jail.
4-5 – to the west edge of town for a complaint involving a hitchhiker walking in the area. Officer was not able to locate the subject.
4-5 – to a residence on N. Center Ave for a complaint involving a juvenile making suicidal comments. The juvenile was transported by ambulance for evaluation/treatment.
4-6 – to Illinois Route 34 near Midland Road to check the welfare of a hitchhiker who appeared to be sleeping in the ditch. The subject refused any police services and continued walking toward Kewanee.
4-6 – to the 100 block of NE 9th St. to remove an unwanted subject.
4-6 – to the 300 block of Swank St. for a loose-dog complaint. The dog was impounded and the owner was located and picked it up.
4-6 – Bryce Shores, 27, Galva, cited for not having registration and operating an uninsured vehicle in the 300 block of Main St.
4-7 – to the railroad tracks on Chester Street for a complaint involving criminal damage to property.
