5-26 – Madison M. Ribordy, 26, Peoria, cited for possession of adult use cannabis by a driver and speeding 68 mph in a 55 zone. She was released with a court date to appear.

Misdemeanors &
Felonies­

5-25 – Devan L. Roach, 24, Camp Grove, arrested for violation of an order of protection. He was taken into custody by authorities from the Stark County Sheriff’s Office and taken to the Bureau County Jail.

5-28 – Ronald L. Warren, 39, Toulon, arrested shortly after 12:30 p.m. and accused of violating an order of protection, according to the Peoria County Sheriff’s Office.

5-30 – Dustin L. Wood, 34, Camp Grove, arrested at 4:15 p.m. May 30 and accused of driving on a revoked license and disregarding an official traffic-control device, according to the Peoria County Sheriff’s Office.

Stark County

5-19 – A two-vehicle accident occurred on North Seventh Street in Wyoming near the intersection of Williams St. Driver Amy R. Moorehead, 19, Wyoming, reportedly was backing out onto North Seventh Street from a parking space when driver Melissa M. Stevens, 51, also of Wyoming, struck the rear of Moorehead’s car. No injuries were reported and no tickets were issued. Estimated damages to Moorhead’s vehicle were $501-$1,500 and Stevens’ vehicle was over $1,500.

5-21 – A two-vehicle accident occurred on Illinois Route 78 approximately one-quarter of a mile south of 600N. Semi-truck driver Mark A. Koehler, 53, of Rock Falls was traveling north following a tractor being driven by Robert P. Ehnle, 40, of Kewanee. Koehler reportedly pulled around Ehnle to pass but when pulling back into the northbound lane he struck Ehnle’s 2017 John Deere. No injuries were reported and no tickets were issued. Damages to the truck and tractor were estimated at over $1,500.

5-23 – Police evicted a LaFayette man from a local golf-course clubhouse after he was disruptive.

The 61-year-old man was causing a disturbance about 5:15 p.m. May 23 at Lake Calhoun Country Club, 2628 Golf Rd., according to a Knox County Sheriff’s Office report. He was yelling at people and had not paid his membership dues, a golf-course employee said.

5-27 – A single-vehicle rollover accident was reported by a resident in the 900 block of W. Clinton St. in Toulon shortly after 9 p.m. Authorities from the Stark County Sheriff’s Office were unable to locate the driver. The vehicle reportedly hit and damaged a high-pressure gas line and was towed.

Galva

GALVA – A Kewanee man was accused of violating an order of protection a Galva-area woman filed against him. The 30-year-old victim said Matthew R. Koenigs, 26, had been contacting her via Facebook, according to a Knox County Sheriff’s Office report. The woman provided screenshots of Koenigs’ apparent messages. The case was sent to the Knox County State’s Attorney’s Office for review.

5-15 – Various tools were reported stolen from a barn south of Galva. The apparent thefts happened about 2 a.m. at a farm in the 2600 block of Knox Road 2000 East. A security camera revealed two people left the barn about 2:40 a.m., according to a Knox County Sheriff’s Office report.

Officer dispatched:
5-27 – to the 800 block of SE 2nd St. for a complaint of criminal damage to property.

5-27 -While patrolling, officer noticed a train coming to an abrupt stop. BNSF was contacted and advised the train had a mechanical issue. The train blocked every Galva crossing for over two hours.

5-28 – to the 800 block of W. Division St. for a loose-dog complaint. The owner captured the dogs and took them home.

5-28 – to the 100 block of NW 3rd Ave. fon an attempted break-in.

5-28 – to the 100 block of E. Division St. for a report of a stolen lawn mower. The mower was located and returned after it was determined to be a civil property dispute.

5-28 – to the 400 block of SE 3rd St. for a verbal dispute between a parent and young child.

5-28 – As the result of a traffic stop in the 200 block of SE 6th Ave., Austin Hollon, 25, Galva, was arrested for not having a valid driver’s license, possession of adult use cannabis in a motor vehicle, operating an uninsured vehicle and not having valid registration. He was processed at the Galva Police Department and released with a required court date.

5-28 – to the 00 block of SW 4th St. to speak to a subject who appeared to be having a mental-health crisis.

5-29 – to a residence on NE 6th Ave. for a welfare check.

5-30 – officer spoke to a resident in the 500 block of SW 3rd St. about a city ordinance violation. The subject agreed to clean up the yard in the next day or two.

5-30 – to the 500 block of SW 6th Ave. for an abandoned vehicle on a public right-of-way. Officer attempted to contact the owners, without success. The vehicle was towed.

5-30 – to an activated burglar alarm in the 00 block of NW 3rd St. A key holder was present and accidentally activated the alarm.

5-30 – to the 100 block of NW 3rd Ave. for an abandoned vehicle complaint. The owner was contacted and the vehicle was removed.

5-30 – to the 00 block of SW 4th St. for a barking-dog complaint.

5-31 – to the intersection of SE 1st St. and SE 6th Ave. for a utility wire struck by a truck. Frontier Telephone was contacted for repairs.

5-31 – to a verbal disturbance in the 200 block of NE 7th St.

5-31 – As the result of a traffic stop in the 00 block of SW 2nd St., Marcus Miller, 35, Peoria, was cited for operating a vehicle when registration suspended for mandatory insurance. He was released with a court date.

5-31 – to a loud party in the 00 block of SW 4th St.

6-1 – Officer, along with the fire department and Stark County Medic, were dispatched to the 400 block of SW 6th St. for a report of a residence filled with smoke.

6-1 – to the 300 block of SW 3rd St. for a subject having a mental-health crisis.

6-1 – to a residence on SW 3rd Ave. to remove an unwanted subject.

6-2 – to Wiley Park for a verbal dispute.

6-2 – to Wiley Park for a juvenile subject lost during a concert. The child’s parents were located.

6-2 – to the 00 block of S. Center Ave. for a loose-dog complaint.

6-2 – to the 900 block of W. Division St. for a disorderly conduct complaint. As the result, Luke Rawlings, 41, Galva, was issued a notice to appear in court for disorderly conduct-breach of peace.

6-2 – Karla Lozano, 32, Kewanee, citated for speeding and operating an uninsured vehicle in the 1100 block of SE 2nd St.­­­
