6-2 – Nolen J. Felten, 31, Galva, was cited for operation of an uninsured vehicle. He was issued a court date to appear.
6-7 – Michael C. Hunter, 51, Bradford, was cited for driving with no vehicle insurance and for driving while his license was revoked. He was issued a court date to appear.
6-9 – Khadijah S. Stuckey, 29, Peoria, was cited for driving on a suspended vehicle registration due to mandatory vehicle insurance. She was issued a court date to appear.
Misdemeanors &
Felonies

6-8 – Lucia M. Reyes, 50, Kewanee, was arrested and charged with domestic battery. She was taken into custody by authorities from the Stark County Sheriff’s Office and later extradited to the Bureau County Jail awaiting a court appearance.

6-3 – to the 100 block of NW 3rd Ave. for an attempted burglary complaint.
6-3 – to a residence on NW 4th St. to check the welfare of a subject that had been involved in a telephone scam and was very upset.
6-3 -to the 800 block of SE 1st St.for a two-vehicle hit-and-run accident with damage only. The suspect car was not located.
6-3 – to the east edge of town to watch for a reckless driver reportedly heading towards Galva. Officer saw the suspect vehicle, but did not observe any violations.
6-3 – to the 200 block of NW 2nd St. for a downed tree branch.
6-3 – to assist the Kewanee Police Department with a large fight involving officers at Fairview Homes.
6-3 – to an illegally parked vehicle in the 500 block of SE 8th Ave.
6-3 – to the 800 block of NE 2nd St. for a barking-dog complaint.
6-4 – to the 800 block of NW 3rd Ave. for a physical domestic disturbance and a standby to retrieve personal property.
6-4 – to the 500 block of NE 5th St. for a tree that had fallen across the roadway. The Galva Street Department moved the tree onto the terrace.
6-5 – to the 300 block of SE 3rd Ave. for a large tree limb that fell onto a neighbor’s car.
6-5 – to the 500 block of SW 6th Ave. to assist a citizen.
6-5 – to the 200 block of NW 6th Ave. to assist the Galva Water Department shut off a water service.
6-5 – to the NE 6th Ave. railroad crossing for a crossing-arm malfunction. BNSF was contacted for repairs.
6-6 – to Wiley Park to meet a complainant in regards to juvenile mischief. A citizen wanted to report a group of juveniles knocking on doors and then running away.
6-6 – to the 700 block of NW 2nd St. for a telephone-harassment complaint.
6-6 – to the 200 block of SW 3rd St. for an online scam and threats through electronic communications.
6-7 – to the 300 block of Main St. for a burglary complaint.
6-7 – to the 200 block of NE 1st Ave. for an animal-abuse complaint. The complaint was unfounded.
6-7 – to the 00 block of Chester St. for a burglary and criminal damage to property complaint.
6-7 – While patrolling, officer located a solicitor in the 300 block of SE 6th St. The solicitor did not have a city permit and was asked to either obtain a permit or leave the area.
6-7 – to the 00 block of SW 4th St. to remove a wheelchair that had rolled into the roadway.
6-7 – to a residence on NE 9th St. for a welfare check.
6-7 – to the 100 block of SW 3rd St. for a loose-dog complaint.
6-7 – to the 700 block of SE 1st St. for a theft report.
6-7 – to the 1300 block of SE 2nd St. to remove a tree branch that was in the lane of traffic.
6-7 – to the 300 block of Market St. for an open-door complaint after business hours. An employee arrived and the door was secured.
6-8 – to the 300 block of SW 3rd St. for a disturbance complaint. The subject was suffering from a mental-health crisis.
6-8 – to the 400 block of SW 3rd St. for a hit-and-run accident involving a parked vehicle. The suspect vehicle is unknown.
6-8 – Officer was flagged down by a citizen in the 200 block of NW 8th Ave. on a trespassing complaint.
6-8 – to the 300 block of SW 3rd St. for a subject having a mental-health crisis.
6-8 – to a residence on NE 5th Ave. for a welfare check. The subject was transported by ambulance.
6-8 – As the result of a traffic stop in the 1000 block of SW 2nd St., Jorgan Baugher, 22, Moline, was cited for operating a vehicle when registration is suspended for insurance. He was released with a court date.
6-8 – to assist the Kewanee Police Department with crowd control during a death investigation.
6-9 – to the 700 block of NW 3rd Ave. for a loose-dog complaint.
6-9 – to the 300 block of Front St. for a theft complaint. Complaint was unfounded.
6-9 – to the 100 block of E. Division St. for a harassment complaint.
6-9 – to the 300 block of SE 4th St. for a reckless-driving complaint. Officer did not locate a suspect vehicle.
6-9 – Bonnie Mercer, 39, Cambridge, was issued a citation for having expired registration in the 300 block of James B. Young Road.
