Officer dispatched:
6-1 – to a vehicle repossession taking place in the 300 block of NE 1st St.
6-1 – While patrolling, officer located a large piece of metal in the roadway in the 1000 block of SE 2 nd St. It was removed.
6-2 – three times to the 00 block of SW 4th St. for a loud-music complaint. The complaint was unfounded after officer observed the music was playing at a reasonable volume.
6-2 – to the 100 block of NW 8th Ave. for a verbal domestic disturbance.
6-3 – Officer was notified about a vehicle repossession in the 800 block of N. Center Ave. The vehicle was recovered.
6-3 – to the 600 block of SW 2nd Ave for a wild-animal complaint involving a sick or injured fox. Officer was not able to locate the animal.
6-4 – to the 500 block of SW 6th Ave. for a low-speed vehicle inspection. A permit was issued.
6-4 – to assist the ambulance with a patient who fainted in the 300 block of Market St.
6-5 – to the 500 block of NW 3rd Ave. for a traffic complaint involving a possible intoxicated driver. Officer was not able to locate.
6-6 – to the 1100 block of NW 5 th Ave for a solicitor complaint.
6-6 – to the 700 block of W. Division St. for a loose-dog complaint. Officer could not locate the dog.
6-7 – to the 400 block of NW 2nd St. for a wild-animal complaint involving an injured raccoon.
6-7 – to the 100 block of NE 7th St. for a complaint of someone knocking on a door and then running away.
6-8 – to the 500 block of SE 2nd St. for a verbal domestic disturbance.
6-8 – to the 00 block of SW 4th St. for a loud-music complaint.
6-8 – to the 700 block of NW 4th St. for a complaint involving a stray cat that got inside the house.
6-9 – to the SW 6th Ave. railroad tracks for a crossing-arm malfunction. BNSF was contacted.
6-9 – While patrolling, officer checked on an unoccupied and parked vehicle with the doors open in the 500 block of SW 7th St.
6-10 – Officer was notified about a vehicle repossession taking place in the 900 block of N. Center Ave.
6-10 – to the 600 block of SW 4th St. for a property-line dispute.
6-10 – to the 900 block of NW 6 th St. for a low-speed vehicle inspection.
6-10 – to a residence in the 900 block of W. Division St. for a city ordinance violation.
6-11 – to the 600 block of NW 5th Ave. for a property-line dispute.
6-11 – While patrolling, officer noticed a train stopping, which blocked every Galva crossing for nearly an hour. The train eventually moved.
6-11 – to the 900 block of NW 6th St. for a disorderly conduct complaint.
6-11 – to the 00 block of SW 4th St. for a solicitor complaint. Five subjects were located who did not have permits. They were removed from the property.
6-11 – to the 700 block of SE 6th St. for a utilities complaint involving a power wire down in a yard. Ameren was contacted.
6-11 – along with the fire department, to the 600 block of NW 4th Ave. for a power transformer that was sparking.
6-11 – to the SW 6 th Ave railroad tracks for a crossing arm malfunction. BNSF was contacted.
6-12 – to the 500 block of North Center Ave for a utility wire that was across the roadway. It was determined to be a phone wire.
6-12 – to a residence on NE 1st Ave. for a welfare check.
6-12 – to the 500 block of N. Center Ave. for a utility wire down. It was a cable wire that was removed.
6-12 – to the 100 block of NW 8th Ave. for a verbal domestic disturbance.
6-12 – to the 1000 block of SW 2nd St. for a verbal domestic disturbance and child custody dispute.
6-13 – to the 600 block of S. Center Ave. for a loose-dog complaint. The dog was returned to a neighbor.
6-13 -to a verbal disturbance between neighbors in the 00 block of NE 6th St.
6-14 -to the 00 block of SW 4 th Street to assist a motorist who locked themselves out of a vehicle. Henry County was able to respond.
6-14 – to the north edge of town to watch for a reckless driver after a complaint. The suspect had already made it home. Henry County handled the complaint at a residence on NW 5th St.
