Stark County
10-20 – A two-vehicle accident occurred on Wallace Highway at 4:20 p.m. Drivers involved were Mark W. Voland, 63, of Farmington and Donald J. Adams, 45, of Toulon. Both drivers were travelling north when Adams slowed down to make a left turn into a farm field entrance. Voland was behind Adams when he reportedly failed to reduce speed, but then attempted to pass and struck the vehicle in front of him. Voland reportedly lost control before leaving the roadway and coming to a rest in a corn field. No injuries were reported, but Voland was cited for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident.
10-26 – Timothy L. Cravens, 36, Toulon, was arrested for driving while his license was suspended and for driving without vehicle insurance. He was also found wanted on a Peoria County warrant. He posted bond and was released with a court date to appear.
10-29 – Gavin J. Abbott, 19, Princeville, was cited for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, driving under the influence, and for driving under the influence with a blood alcohol content over .08. He posted $100 cash bond and was released with a court date to appear.
10-30 – Chase K. Morrissey, 29, Toulon, was issued a notice to appear for possession of heroin.
10-30 – Stephanie M. Miller, 32, Washington, was ticketed for not having a valid driver’s license.
10-31 – Jorge L. Quintero, 18, Peoria, was arrested for driving without a valid driver’s license, speeding 68 mph in a 55 zone, and failure to dim headlights when required. He was released with a notice to appear.

Officer dispatched:
10-25 – met with a resident at the Galva Police Dept. in reference to a report involving identity theft.
10-25 – to the parking lot at the high school in reference to a two-vehicle crash with damage only. A crash report was completed.
10-26 – to the 500 block of NW 8th St. for a domestic dispute. As the result, Rebecca Muckey, 33, Galva, was arrested on a Knox County warrant for failure to appear on the charge of driving while suspended. She was released with a required court date.
10-26 – to the 400 block of SE 3rd St. for an attempted phone scam report.
10-26 – to the 100 block of SW 10th Ave. for threat complaints through social media.
10-27 – to Wiley Park for a complaint involving two dogs possibly fighting. Officer was unable to locate.
10-27 – Officer spoke with a subject by telephone about an ongoing harassment issue in reference to a custody dispute.
10-27 – As the result of a traffic stop in the 500 block of SE 2nd St., Dakota Hill, 29, Moline, was arrested on a Henry County warrant for failure to appear on a traffic charge of having an expired registration. He was able to post bond and was released.
10-28 – Officer met with a resident at the Galva Police Dept. in reference to a battery complaint.
10-28 – to the 500 block of SE 2nd St. to assist a motorist.
10-28 – to the 200 block of NW 3rd Ave. for a complaint involving damage to a door. It was determined to be weather related due to high winds.
10-29 – to a single-vehicle accident in the 900 block of SE 2nd St. A motorist had driven off the road. They were able to get the vehicle removed with no damage.
10-30 – to the 1000 block of West Division Street to check the welfare of dogs that appeared to be abandoned at a residence. As the result, Haley Selman, 23, Galva, was arrested for two counts of animal cruelty. The dogs were impounded for treatment. She was released with a required court date.
10-30 – to the 500 block of Swank St. for a dog-bite complaint. A subject was bitten by a family dog.
10-30 – Officer recognized a wanted subject in the 500 block of SE 2nd St. As the result, Kayla Snider, 31, Galva, was arrested on a Henry County warrant for failure to appear on the charge of DUI-drugs. She was transported to the Galva Police Dept. for processing and later released after posting bond.
10-31 – to the 500 block of NW 4th Ave. along with the fire dept. and Stark County Medic for a natural gas leak. Ameren was contacted.
10-31 – to the 100 block of NW 7th Ave. for a loud music complaint.
10-27 – Scott Foster, 50, Williamfield, was issued a citation for operating a vehicle with expired registration in the 200 block of Exchange St.
10-27 – Ronald Bombliss, 62, Galva, was issued a citation for improper use of registration and operating an uninsured vehicle in the 800 block of SE 2nd St.
10-27 – Jamar Whiteside-Banks, 26, Galva, was issued citations for speeding 26-35 mph over the limit and operating an uninsured vehicle in the 600 block of South Center Ave.
10-29 – Audri Roberts, 18, Kewanee, was issued a citation for operating an uninsured vehicle in the 700 block of North Center Ave.
10-31 – Troy McGee, 31, Geneseo, was issued a citation for speeding in the 1000 block of North Center Ave.
