10-28 – A 16-year-old Abingdon teen was ticketed for speeding 52 mph in a 40 zone.
10-28 – A possible juvenile battery incident was reported by a Wyoming parent to authorities. The incident remains under investigation between authorities and the school district.
10-29 – A possible juvenile assault and or battery incident was reported by a parent to authorities. The incident reportedly happened at school and remains under investigation between authorities and the school district administration.
10-29 – A dog bite was reported by residents in the 700 block of N. Seventh Street in Wyoming.

Officer dispatched:

10-28 – to the 600 block of NW 4th St.for a reckless driving complaint. Officer was not able to locate the suspect vehicle.
10-28 – to the 800 block of SE 1st St. for a complaint involving tree limbs hanging on utility wires.
10-28 – Michael Storm, 44, Lacon, cited for operating an uninsured vehicle in the 1300 block of SE 2nd St.
10-29 – to the 500 block of SE 6th Ave. for a loose-dog complaint. The owner was able to locate and take the dog back home.
10-29 – As the result of a traffic stop in the 900 block of SE 2nd St., Leah Middleton, 24, Galesburg, was cited for registration suspended for mandatory insurance. She received a court date.
10-29 – While patrolling, an officer noticed a crossing arm malfunction at the Chester Street railroad crossing. BNSF was contacted for repairs.
10-29 – As the result of a traffic stop in the 100 block of NE 1st St., Alexis Haga, 26, Galva, cited for operating a vehcile while registration suspended for mandatory insurance. She received a court date.
10-29 – along with the fire department were dispatched to Bonham Road and 1850 East for a fully engulfed ATV that had caught a picked bean field on fire.
10-29 – to the 00 block of SE 4th St. to assist a motorist with a flat tire.
10-29 – As the result of a traffic stop in the 900 block of SE 2nd St., Audri Roberts, 21, Kewanee, was cited for operating a vehicle when registration suspended for mandatory insurance. She was released with a court date.
10-29 – to the 00 block of SW 2nd St. to collect an Illinois driver’s license that had been found. The license was determined to be suspended. It was mailed back to the Secretary of State’s office.
10-29 – to the 800 block of SE 2nd St. for utility wires laying on tree limbs. Mediacom was notified for repairs.
10-29 – Damon Koga, 26, Galva, cited for having expired registration in the 100 block of E. Division St.
10-30 – to a 911 open-line call that plotted in the 800 block of SW 4th St. Officer responded and saw a large tree had fallen across the roadway. The Galva Street Department was able to remove it with chainsaws and a backhoe.
10-30 – Officer initiated a traffic stop in the 1000 block of SE 2nd St. after a vehicle was located with a possible stolen license plate. After investigating, it was determined to be a stolen front plate on a vehicle missing its front plate.
10-30 – As the result of a traffic stop in the 100 block of Market St., Bailey Yelm, 33, Galva, was cited for operating a vehicle when registration was suspended for mandatory insurance. She received a court date.
10-30 – to Wiley Park for a complaint involving an out-of-control juvenile acting out and a parent trying to restrain them. The juvenile was taken by ambulance for treatment.
10-31 – to the 500 block of SW 3rd Ave. for a criminal damage to property complaint in reference to a cellphone being broken.
10-31 – to the Chester St. railroad crossing for a crossing arm malfunction. BNSF was contacted.
10-31 – to the east edge of town for a reckless driving complaint. Officer located the suspect vehicle but did not observe any violations.
11-1 – to the 1000 block of SW 2nd St. for a civil complaint involving non-payment for work that was performed.
11-1 – to a large burn pile on Route 34 near the Bishop Hill Road. It was a controlled burn that had not been reported.
11-1 – to Wiley Park for a loose-dog complaint. The dog was impounded and released to its owner.
11-1 – to the 400 block of NW 1st St. for suspicious activity.
11-2 – to the 100 block of SE 6th Ave. for a physical altercation. This case is under review.
11-2 – As the result of a traffic stop in the 200 block of Front St., Bailey Yelm, 33, Galva was cited for operating a vehicle when registration suspended for mandatory insurance. She received a court date.
11-2 – to Sentry Estates to assist a citizen whose cat had climbed a tree and appeared stuck. The officer was able to get the cat back down.
11-3 – to the 400 block of North Center Ave. for a landlord/tenant dispute.
