Incidents & Accidents Stark County
2-3-21
– Two 17-year-old Bradford teens were issued notices to appear for theft and criminal trespass to property.
2-3-21 – Kirk C. Bryner, 65, homeless, was arrested on a Stark County warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of fleeing and eluding. Unable to post bond he was taken into custody and placed in the Stark County Jail. Bryner was also found wanted on a federal warrant for a probation violation and was extradited to the Knox County Jail.
2-5-21 – Carl P. Porter, 43, Wyoming, was arrested on a McDonough County warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of driving while his license was suspended, and on a Stark County warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of unlawful possession of a weapon. He was later released with a notice to appear and court dates in both counties.
2-6-21 – An employee at the Bradford Casey’s reported an unidentified individual stole items from the business. The incident remains under investigation.

Galva Report Officer dispatched:
2-1-21 – to Galva High School for a burglary, criminal damage to property complaint.
2-1 – to the intersection of NW 4th St. and NW 4th Ave. for a two-vehicle accident with damage. As a result, Ricky Billingsly, 55, Galva, was issued a citation for failure to yield right-of-way at a stop intersection.
2-1 – along with the fire department and Stark County Medic, to assist Henry County with an accident east of town on Route 34. Two vehicles were stuck in the ditch.
2-1 – As the result of a traffic stop in the 200 block of NW 4th St., Joshua Carlson, 31, Galva, was arrested for driving while license revoked. He was released with a notice to appear.
2-1 – to the 500 block of SE 4th St. for a report involving an unemployment scam.
2-1 – to the 00 block of NE 4th Ave. for a subject who was acting out.
2-2 – to the 100 block of NW 1st St. for a loose dog complaint. The resident transported the dog to the veterinary clinic for impound.
2-3 – Officer was notified about a vehicle repossession in the 200 block of NW 1st Ave.
2-3 – to the 1100 block of SE 2nd St. for a motorist assist complaint. The vehicle was towed.
2-3 – to the 00 block of NE 4th Ave. for a disturbance complaint.
2-4 – Officer was notified of a crossing arm malfunction at the railroad crossing at NE 2nd St. BNSF had a repair crew en route.
2-4 – to the 900 block of SE 2nd St. for a motorist assist.
2-4 – to a residence on NE 2nd St. to assist Illinois DCFS.
2-4 – to a vehicle in the ditch complaint on East 2250 St. near Trolley Rd.
2-4 – to assist Henry County with several motorist assists on County Highway 5 north of Galva.
2-5 – to the 00 block of SW 2nd St. for a gas drive off.
2-6 – to assist Henry County with a vehicle rollover accident on 300 N. just east of County Highway 5.
2-6 – Officer was notified about a possible water main break in the 500 block of SW 6th St. The Galva Water Dept. was notified.
2-7 – to the 400 block of East Division St. for an animal neglect complaint. Four dogs were removed and impounded.
2-7 – Officer assisted the Henry County Sheriff’s Department with a vehicle pursuit that ended in the 1000 block of West Division Street. Several charges are pending with Henry County.
