2-10 – Elle M. Schupbach, 21, Wyoming, was cited for speeding 76 mph in a 55 mph zone.
2-10 – Ashley K. Lambert, 37, Bradford, was cited for speeding 71 mph in a 55 mph zone.
2-11 – Tara R. Derry, 28, Princeville, was cited for speeding 85 mph in a 55 mph zone.
2-13 – Larry D. Colwell II, 31, Galva, was arrested and charged with criminal damage to property. He was released with a notice to appear.
2-14 – Mitchell R. McKelvey, 22, East Peoria, was cited for speeding 69 mph in a 55 mph zone.
2-14 – Michael R. Shullaw, 24, Tremont, was cited for speeding 79 mph in a 55 mph zone and for driving on a vehicle registration that expired over a year ago. He was released with a court date to appear.
2-15 – Veronica Corral, 44, Kewanee, was ticketed for speeding 73 mph in a 55 mph zone.
2-15 – Kade W. Mennen, 19, Walton, Ind., was cited for speeding 75 mph in a 55 mph zone.
2-16 – Stephany J. Pugliano, 42, Toulon, was cited for driving an uninsured vehicle.
2-16 – Zachery T. Vore, 19, South Pekin, was cited for passing in a no-passing zone and for operating an uninsured vehicle. He was released with a court date to appear.
2-16 – Thomas C. Bashusen, 18, Melissa, Texas, was cited for speeding 70 mph in a 55 mph zone.
2-16 – Jared C. Dougherty, 27, Toulon, was arrested for criminal trespassing to the R-Bar business in Toulon. He was released with a notice to appear.
2-17 – Matthew J. Garland, 57, Sterling, was cited for speeding 71 mph in a 55 mph zone.
2-17 – Steven S. Armstrong, 58, Peoria, was cited for speeding 70 mph in a 55 mph zone.
2-17 – Blake A. Roedell, 31, Hanna City, was cited for speeding 71 mph in a 55 mph zone.
2-17 – A deer-related vehicle accident occurred on Illinois Route 78 and 50N. The driver involved was Jeffrey A. Soufal, 63, of Bloomingdale. No injuries were reported but the 2021 Buick utility vehicle had damage estimated at over $1,500.

Officer dispatched:

2-12 – to a residence on NW 7th Ave. for an activated medical alarm. Officer gained entry and found a subject who had fallen. Stark County Medic also responded.
2-12 – to a residence on NE 9th St. to assist Stark County Medic gain entry into a residence after an activated medical alarm.
2-12 – A 16-year-old driver from Princeville was cited for speeding in the 1100 block of SE 2nd St.
2-13 – Officer was notified that the Stark County Sheriff’s Department had dropped off a Galva resident at his parent’s house and they had refused him due to his intoxication. The subject was walking around the area but didn’t cause further issues.
2-13 – to the Galva Lincoln House for a complaint involving a vehicle parked in a handicap parking spot. The vehicle had a handicap placard hanging from rearview mirror. No enforcement action taken.
2-13 – Officer responded to Woodhull to assist a Henry County deputy who requested emergency assistance with a combative subject fighting him. The subject was ultimately tased and arrested by Henry County.
2-13 – Natalie Muckey, 38, Wataga, was issued citations for having expired registration and operating an uninsured vehicle in the 900 block of NW 6th St.
2-14 – Vickie Piper, 58, Dunlap, was cited for speeding on Illinois Route17 north of the cemetery.
2-14 – to the 700 block of NW 2nd St. to deliver a message to a residence from the Henry County Animal Control Warden.
2-14 – As the result of a traffic stop in the 200 block of S. Exchange St., Kelly Smithson, 46, Galva, was arrested for driving without a valid driver’s license, expired more than one year. She was released with a court date.
2-14 – to the Exchange Street railroad crossing for a crossing-arm malfunction. BNSF was contacted.
2-15 – to the 00 block of NE Sth Ave. to assist a citizen.
2-16 – to the 1000 block of N. Center Ave to assist Stark County Medic with a subject who had fallen.
2-17 – As the result of a traffic stop in the 1200 block of SE 2nd St., Gustavo Acevedo Medina, 57, Kewanee, was arrested for being out-of-compliance for his sex offender registry. He was taken to the Henry County Jail.
2-17 – to the 00 block of SW 4th St. for a neighbor dispute.
2-18 – to the 300 block of SE 2nd St. for a loose-dog complaint.
2-18 – to the 00 block of SW 2nd St. for a gas-drive-off complaint.
2-18 – to the 00 block of SW 4th St. to deliver a message for the Kewanee Police Department. No contact was made.
2-18 – to a residence on SW 6th St. to check the welfare of a subject. The subject was found deceased. The Henry County Coroner was contacted.
2-18 – Steven Ochs, 43, Cambridge, was issued a citation for having expired registration in the 800 block of W. Division St.
