Officer dispatched:


3-16 – While patrolling, officer located a motorist stuck in the roadway near the intersection of NW 2nd Ave. and Main St. Officer assisted getting the vehicle moving.
3-16 – to help the ambulance with a medical emergency on NW 7th Ave.
3-16 – to check a vehicle in the ditch on the east edge of town. The vehicle was marked and later removed by a tow truck.
3-16 – to the 1000 block of W. Division St. to assist a motorist stuck in the roadway. Officer was not strong enough to push vehicle. Tarletons wrecker pulled it out.
3-16 – to the Galva-Atkinson blacktop to check a vehicle stuck in the ditch. Officer transported subjects to a local motel for lodging.
3-16 – to the 200 block of NW 7th Ave. for 911 open-line complaints. Officer determined it was a theft complaint amongst family members.
3-17 – to the 200 block of NE 2nd St. for a complaint of an opossum in the road. Complainant was concerned a vehicle might strike it. A neighbor assisted the officer load the opossum into the car. It was transported to rural Galva and released.
3-17 – to a verbal disturbance in the 400 block of N. Center Ave. The complainant went to a family member’s house to stay for awhile.
3-17 – to a residence on SW 4th St. for a medical pendant activation. Officer located a subject suffering from a panic attack. Stark County Medic was contacted for evaluation.
3-18 – to the 200 block of NE 2nd St. for a physical domestic disturbance between mother and daughter.
3-19 – to the 100 block of SE 2nd St. for a disabled vehicle blocking the roadway. Officer directed traffic until a tow truck removed the car.
3-19 – to the 300 block of SE 6th St. for a complaint of a dog bite to a human. As the result, Karissa Wilson, 37, Galva, was issued an administrative warning ticket for allowing a dog to run at large.
3-20 – to the 500 block of SE 2nd St. for a two-vehicle accident with damage only.
3-20 – to the 200 block of S. Exchange St. for a trash-dumping complaint.
3-20 – to Wiley Park in reference to a complaint involving a group of juveniles yelling at other youth.
3-20 – to the 500 block of SW 1st Ave. for a wild-animal complaint involving a sick skunk. The city trapper set several live traps.
3-21 – to assist Henry County with a burglary complaint west of Galva.
3-21 – to the 1000 block of North Center Ave. for a complaint involving a subject being injured from falling off an electric bicycle. Stark County Medic also responded.
3-21 – to meet with a resident at the Galva Police Department to file a report involving theft and internet scam due to funds missing from a bank account.
3-22 – to the 00 block of SW 2nd St. to recover a debit card that had been left at the business.
3-22 – As the result of a traffic stop in the 1000 block of North Center Ave., Amber Stocker, 39, Peoria Heights, was issued a citation for having an expired drivers license (more than one year). She was released with a required court date.
