5-14 – Joseph M. Vische, 56, Metamora, cited for speeding 80 mph in a 55 zone and issued a court date.
5-15 – Corey L. Jones, 31, Brimfield, was arrested and issued two citations including speeding 75 mph in a 55 zone and possession of adult use cannabis by a driver. He was also issued a notice to appear for possession of meth with less than five grams and possession of a controlled substance. His vehicle was towed to the impound lot. He has a pending court date.
5-15 – Amanda S. Stanley, 44, Sumner, cited for driving without vehicle insurance and issued a court date.
5-15 – A possible credit card theft was reported by a Kewanee resident. The incident is under investigation.
5-15 – Nicholas B. Waldron, 19, Sherman, cited for speeding 80 mph in a 55 zone.

5-12 – to the 300 block of SW 3rd St. to follow up on a theft complaint.
5-12 – During a traffic stop in the 00 block of SW 2nd St., Drexel Miller, 24, New Windsor, was cited for operating a vehicle when registration suspended for mandatory insurance, operating an uninsured vehicle and expired registration. He has a required court date.
5-12 – to the 1000 block of N. Center Ave. for a two-vehicle accident with only damage.
5-12 – to the 500 block of SE 1st St. to recover a large bag of hypodermic needles found in a yard there. They were taken for disposal.
5-12 – to the 300 block of SW 4th St. for a trash-dumping complaint. Offender agreed to clean up the mess and was educated on how trash pickup occurs.
5-12 – to the 100 block of N. Center Ave. for a loose-dog complaint. The dog was impounded and later picked up by its owner.
5-12 – to the 600 block of NW 1st St. for an aggressive and loose dog complaint. As a result, Linda Yelm, 51, Galva, was issued an administrative warning ticket for allowing a dog to run at large.
5-12 – to the 00 block of NE 4th Ave. for a disorderly conduct complaint. Robert Heck, 56, Galva, was arrested for disorderly conduct and harassment through electronic communications. He has a required court date.
5-13 – to the 100 block of NE 9th St. for a verbal domestic disturbance.
5-13 – to the 100 block of SE 6th St. for a possible violation of an order of protection complaint.

5-14 – to the 600 block of NW 7th Ave. to remove an unwanted subject. Brett Harlan, 41, Galva, was arrested on two Knox County warrants for failing to appear on charges of possession of meth, DUI-drugs, failing to reduce speed to avoid accident, no insurance and no seat belt. He was taken to the Henry County Jail.
5-14 – to the 300 block of NW 1st Ave. for a utility wire in the roadway. Frontier Communications was contacted for repairs.
5-15 – to remove an unwanted subject in the 00 block of NW 2nd St. The offender was served with a written banning notice.
5-15 – to the 100 block of SW 9th Ave. for a disabled-vehicle complaint. The vehicle was moved.
5-15 – to the 800 block of E. Division St. for an open-door complaint.
5-15 – to the 1000 block of SE 2nd St. for a safety concern.
5-16 – As the result of an investigation into an incident last week, Justin Bicknell, 36, Moline, was arrested on a Henry County warrant for assault. He was transported to the Henry County Jail.
5-16 – to the 00 block of SW 2nd St. for a gas drive-off complaint.
5-16 – to the 00 block of SE 6th St. for a property-line dispute.

5-16 – As the result of a traffic stop in the 100 block of SE 1st St., Samuel Abdelkoui, 64, Galva, was arrested for driving while license suspended, operating an uninsured vehicle and having an expired drivers license. He was released and has a required court date.
5-16 – After several traffic complaints involving a reckless driver in various areas in Galva, a traffic stop was conducted in the 300 block of Commercial St. Patrick Hammons, 69, Galva, was issued citations for improper use of registration and operating an uninsured vehicle.
5-17 – to the 500 block of E. Division St. for a verbal-domestic disturbance.
5-17 – to the intersection of SE 8th Ave. and SE 1st St. for a utility wire down across the roadway.
5-17 – to the 300 block of NE 1st St. for a complaint involving pieces of wood with nails in it in the roadway.
5-17 – to the 00 block of NW 4th St. for a lost or stolen wallet complaint. The complainant later found the wallet inside their house.
