5-25 – Chet D. Gillespie of rural Toulon reported hitting a deer on Route 17 north of 900E. No injuries were reported.
5-25 – Renee B. Zakas, 48, Toulon, was cited for driving on a suspended license and issued a court date.
5-25 – Brandy L. Chase, 45, Wyoming, was ticketed for speeding 72 mph in a 55 zone.

5-25 – James A. Breese, 59, Wyoming, was ticketed for driving without vehicle insurance and for driving on a suspended registration. His vehicle was impounded and he was issued a court date.

5-27 – Steven C. Ellis, 51, Andover, was cited for driving on a suspended driver’s license and issued a court date.
5-27 – Grayden L. Porter, 20, Kewanee hit a cow at 3:19 a.m. on the Modena Blacktop. The cow was owned by Cardinal Cattle Company of rural Wyoming. No injuries were reported to the driver or four additional passengers. The 2001 Chevrolet Silverado truck was estimated at a total loss by investigating Stark County Deputy William Dorn. No tickets were issued.
5-28 – Julie C. Johnson, 52, Galesburg, was cited for driving on expired vehicle registration, driving on a suspended registration and driving without vehicle insurance. Her vehicle was towed and she was issued a court date.
5-28 – Jesse Z. Waller, 30, Peoria, was cited for operating an uninsured vehicle and for driving on a suspended vehicle registration. His vehicle was towed and he was issued a court date.
5-29 – William E. Jones, 41, Battlement Mesa, Colo., was cited for driving without vehicle insurance and issued a court date.
5-29 – Jacob D. Johnson, 37, Altona, was cited for illegal possession of adult-use cannabis by a driver and issued a court date.

5-29 – David M. Harris, 43, Galesburg, was arrested for possession of a controlled substance and ticketed for speeding 69 mph in a 55 zone. His vehicle was towed and he was issued a court date.
5-29 – Peter J. Staranko, 43, Sterling, was ticketed for improper use of an electronic communication device.
5-30 – A traffic stop netted charges on two individuals. Eric M. Stabler, 46, Altona, was arrested for possession of methamphetamine and for resisting or obstructing a peace officer. He was also cited for illegal possession of cannabis by a vehicle driver, littering on a public roadway and failure to signal.
Also arrested was Lacey D. Hall, 36, Altona, charged with illegal possession of cannabis by a passenger and possession of methamphetamine. Both Stabler and Hall were released with notices to appear. The vehicle was impounded.
5-30 – Andrew L. Martinez, 38, LaSalle, was arrested on an outstanding Bureau County warrant for failure to appear oinvolving an order of protection. He was extradited to the Bureau County Jail.
5-31 – Michael C. Howard, 39, Anaheim, Calif., was cited for speeding 97 mph in a 55 zone and issued a court date.
5-31 – A Bradford resident in the 300 block of S. Peoria St. reported possible criminal damage to property at her residence.
5-31 – A 17-year-old Kewanee teen was ticketed for speeding 78 mph in a 55 zone.
5-31 – Braden D. Wagner, 28, Brimfield, was issued multiple citations for driving without vehicle insurance, driving on an expired registration and improper lighting.
5-31 – Damian J. Carroll, 35, Princeville, was cited for disobeying a stop sign.
Peoria County report
5-13 – As the result of an alleged battery in Lawn Ridge, a Peoria man was discovered to be a non-compliant sex offender. Tracy D. Williams, 30, was arrested following the incident, which happened near 8 p.m. at a residence in the 23400 block of Illinois Route 40, according to a redacted Peoria County Sheriff’s Office report.
Williams admitted to pushing a 42-year-old Speer man to the ground. There was at least one witness, a 76-year-old Edelstein woman. Williams first was reported to be holding someone at gunpoint, but that was determined to be inaccurate.
A check revealed Williams failed to register his address with authorities, as convicted sex offenders are required. Williams also was accused of battery and aggravated domestic battery and was transported to the Peoria County Jail.
