Stark County
6-25 – Jeffrey B. Giese, 45, Kewanee, turned himself in on a Stark County warrant for domestic battery. He posted $500 cash bond and was released with a notice to appear.
6-26 – Katrisse Johnson, 23, Peoria, was cited for speeding 80 mph in a 55 zone and for driving an uninsured vehicle.
6-30 – Orina L. Hadnott, 26, Kewanee, arrested for driving without a valid driver’s license, speeding 82 mph in a 55 mph zone, driving without vehicle insurance, failure to properly secure a child under the age of 8 years old, and endangering the life or health of a child. She posted $250 cash bond and was released with a court date to appear. Also arrested in the same traffic stop was Aisha M. Uzzardo-Butler, 24, Kewanee, charged with illegal transportation of alcohol by a passenger. She was released with a court date to appear.
6-30 – Alecia D. Dozard, 37, Bradford, was given a notice to appear for driving with a suspended license.
7-2 – Jedidiah P. Nicholas, 44, Neponset, was cited for speeding 74 mph in a 55 zone, driving without a valid registration and driving on an expired driver’s license. He was issued a notice to appear.
7-4 – A 17-year old Peoria juvenile was cited for illegal transportation of cannabis in a vehicle by a driver. He was issued a notice to appear.
7-5 – Jessica N. Waddell, 26, Peoria, was arrested on a Henry County warrant for failure to appear on the original charge for delivery and or possession of meth. Unable to post $5,000 cash bond, she was taken to the Henry County Jail.
7-5 – Jose Guadalupe Cadenas-Garcia, 30, Peoria, was cited for speeding 70 mph in a 55 zone, driving with no insurance and driving on a suspended registration. He was issued a notice to appear.
7-7 – Criminal damage to a vehicle and-or property was the source of a complaint received from the 200 block of E. Main St. in LaFayette.
7-7 – A possible theft of multiple items was reported by staff from the Wyoming Casey’s General Store. The incident is under investigation.

6-27 – to the 300 block of Front St. for an intoxicated male who was unresponsive. The subject was transported by ambulance.
6-28 – to the 900 block of N. Center Ave. for a civil complaint involving an unwanted subject.
6-28 – to meet with a resident in the 400 block of SE 7th Ave. for a city ordinance violation for junk cars.
6-29 – to a residence on NE 2nd St. in reference to a mental health evaluation. A subject was transported by ambulance.
6-29 – to the 400 block of N. Center Ave. for a loose dog complaint. Owner retrieved the dog.

6-30 – As the result of a traffic stop in the 700 block of NE 1st Ave., Taylor Brown, 28, Geneseo, was arrested for unlawful possession of hypodermic needles and unlawful use of registration. She was released with a required court date.
7-1 – to the 400 block of N. Center Ave. for a loud-music complaint.
7-2 – As the result of a traffic stop in the 200 block of N. Center Ave., Charles Snyder, 32, Kewanee, was arrested for operating a vehicle with suspended registration and operating an uninsured vehicle. He was released with a required court date.
7-2 – Officer noticed a subject walking in the 200 block of N. Center Ave. during an unrelated traffic stop. The subject, Brandon Swank, 26, Galva, was arrested on a Stark County warrant for failing to appear on the charge of violating an order of protection. He was given a notice to appear and released.
7-2 – to the 00 block of SW 4th St. for a theft complaint.
7-2 – to County Highway 5 north of town after a complaint involving a large amount of grass and gravel on the roadway. It was removed.
7-2 – Officer recognized a wanted subject in the 500 block of SE 2nd St. As the result, Herman Brown, 54, Galva, was arrested on a Henry County warrant for failing to appear for charges of driving while license suspended and operating an uninsured vehicle. He was given a notice to appear in court and released.
7-2 – Officer spoke to a juvenile riding a bicycle in the 200 block of NW 3rd Ave. about the rules of the road and how to ride safer.
7-2 – Following a reckless driving complaint north of town, officer located the suspect vehicle in the 200 block of Front St. Riley Tuthill, 23, Kewanee, was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol and DUI with a BAC over .08%. He was released with a required court date.
7-3 – to the 700 block of NW 1st Ave. for a fireworks complaint, one of many reported.
7-3 – Sanil Chawla, 22, Fremont, Calif., issued a citation for speeding in the 300 block of N. Center Ave.
7-3 – Humberto Vizcarra, 46, Kewanee, issued a citation for speeding in the 900 block of N. Center Ave.
7-3 – Eric Nolan, 31, Evergreen Park, issued a citation for speeding in 800 block of W. Division St.
7-4 – As the result of a traffic stop in the 300 block of SE 2nd St., Kyle Kelly, 31, Kewanee, was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol, DUI with a BAC over .08%, driving on the wrong side of the roadway, and no tail lights when required. He was released with a required court date.
7-4 – three times to the 00 block of NE 4th Ave. for a report involving criminal damage to a vehicle. All cases related and under investigation.
7-4 – Officer found a cell phone during the freedom fest parade and returned it to its rightful owner.
7-4 – Officer observed a couple walking at the Galva Park District and was aware of a valid order of protection. As the result, Michael Sadowski, 28, Galva, was arrested for violation of an order of protection. He was taken to Henry County Jail.
7-4 – to the 1000 block of West Division St. for a fireworks complaint.
7-4 – As the result of a traffic stop in the 500 block of S. Center Ave., Frederick Sanders, 20, Galesburg, was arrested for operating a vehicle with suspended registration, possession of adult use cannabis in a motor vehicle, operating an uninsured vehicle, and not having a valid driver’s license. He also had two Knox County warrants for failing to appear on charges of a probation violation as well as burglary and criminal damage to property. He posted bond and was released with new court dates.
7-4 – to meet with a citizen who turned in a cell phone that had been found during fireworks.
7-4 – to the 200 block of SE 2nd St. for a reckless driving complaint involving a car “all over the roadway.” Officer was not able to locate.
7-5 – to the 600 block of SE 2nd St. in reference to a theft over $500 and damage to the ATM machine. A stolen vehicle used in the case was recovered in the Galva Cemetery. This case is under investigation.
7-5 – to a fight occurring in the roadway involving two subjects in the 00 block of SW 6th St. One subject had a golf club and the other subject had a knife. An arrest was made, but no charges were filed.
7-6 – to 300 block of E. Division St. for a fraud complaint.
7-7 – to the 200 block of Morgan Rd. for a report involving damage to two vehicles.
7-9 – to the 200 block of NE 5th St. to remove an unwanted subject. As the result, Michael Sadowski, 28, Galva, was arrested for violating an order of protection. He was taken to the Henry County Jail.
7-9 – Officer met with a subject at the Galva PD in reference to a report involving criminal sex abuse.
7-9 – to the 00 block of NE 4th St. for a single-vehicle accident with damage only.
7-9 – to a domestic disturbance in the 500 block of NW 8th St.
7-9 – to assist Kewanee PD checking residences around Galva for a vehicle stolen from Kewanee.
