Stark County

6-20 – A deer-related vehicle accident occurred at 1400E and 800N. The driver involved was Jessica Joos, 21, of Wyoming. There were no injuries reported, but estimated damage to the vehicle was over $1,500.
6-22 – A deer-related accident occurred at 300N and 100E. The driver involved was identified as Ryan J. Arch, 37, of Galva. There were no injuries reported, but estimated damage to the vehicle was over $1,500.
6-25 – A single-vehicle accident occurred on Route 17 and 91. The driver involved was identified as Frank S. Hansard, 62, of Wyoming, who was traveling east on Route 17 when he struck debris in the road.
6-21 – Authorities had an abandoned vehicle towed from Route 40 and 950N.
6-24 – A LaFayette resident reported being the victim of a possible fraud. The incident remains under investigation.
6-25 – Chase Anderson, 36, was arrested for domestic battery and taken to Stark County Jail. After appearing in court, he posted $1,000 cash bond and got a court date to appear.
6-26 – Yasmy Blas, 43, Toulon, was issued a notice to appear for allowing her dog “Flash” to run at large.
6-27 – Carl P. Porter, 43, of Wyoming, was arrested on two pending Peoria County warrants for failure to appear for driving while his license was suspended. He was transported to Stark County Jail. Cash bond was set at $750.
6-27 – Nickolus A. McPherson, 31, was ticketed for driving without insurance.

6-21 – As the result of a traffic stop in the 100 block of SE 1st Ave., Luke Rawlings, 38, Galva, was arrested for driving while license suspended and operating an uninsured vehicle. He was released with a court date.
6-21 – Officer was flagged down in the 300 block of SE 1st Ave. in reference to an attempted phone scam.
6-21 – to the 600 block of NW 7th Ave. to remove an unwanted subject.
6-22 – As the result of a traffic stop in the 300 block of SE 2nd Street, Michael Thuline, 53, Galva, was arrested for driving while license suspended and operating an uninsured vehicle. He was released with a court date.
6-22 – As the result of a traffic stop in the 00 block of SE 4th Ave., Darcy Dye, 61, Galva,, was arrested for improper use of registration and operating an uninsured vehicle. She was also arrested on a Bureau County warrant for failure to appear on charges of DUI-alcohol and illegal transportation of alcohol. She was released with required court date.
6-22 – to the 00 block of NW 4th Ave. for a threat received through social media.
6-22 – to a natural gas leak in the 00 block of NW 5th Street. Ameren was able to handle.
6-23 – to the intersection of Exchange Street and Front Street for a report of an assault that had occurred.
6-23 – to the 300 block of NW 3rd Ave. for an issue with a barking dog.
6-23 – to a loose dog complaint in the 300 block of NE 2nd Street. Stephanie Snider, 32, Galva, was issued an administrative warning ticket for allowing a dog to run at large.
6-23 – to the 500 block of NW 2nd Street for a verbal disturbance. This was the result of a traffic incident that was not reported to police.
6-23 – As the result of a traffic stop in the 200 block of NE 1st Ave., Jace Aldrich, 24, Mineral, was arrested for possession of methamphetamine, possession of hypodermic needles, and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was also charged with traffic offenses of: No valid driver’s license, operating an uninsured vehicle, only having one red tail light and failure to use a turn signal. He was released with a required court date.
6-24 – to the 00 block of NE 4th Ave. for a trespassing complaint.
6-24 – Officer met with a resident in reference to a scam that occurred through Facebook Marketplace.
6-24 – Officer met with subjects at the police department in reference to a battery in Bureau County.
6-24 – to the intersection of NE 4th Ave. and East Division Street for a suspicious vehicle complaint. Subject was looking for lost keys.
6-25 – to the 00 block of NE 1st Street for a trespassing complaint. Subject had permission to be there.
6-25 – As the result of a traffic stop in the 00 block of SE 4th Street, Dylan Hopkins,, 24, Galva, was issued a citation for operatin g an uninsured vehicle. A juvenile passenger was arrested for posssession of a firearm without a FOID card, possession of ammunition without a FOID card, possession of burglary tools, possession of a stolen firearm, possession of stolen property, obstructing justice, littering and defacing the ID marks on a firearm. Woodhull police also had charges on the same juvenile for a residential burglary earlier in the day. The juvenile was taken to the Mary Davis detention center.
6-25 – twice to the 400 block of North Center Ave. for a trespassing complaint. As the result, Brandon Swank, 25, Galva, was arrested for criminal trespass to property. He was taken to the Henry County Jail.
6-26 – to the 500 block of SE 1st Ave. for a suspicious vehicle complaint. Subjects were driving around looking for a missing dog.
6-26 – to a residence on NW 2nd Street for a welfare check. Subject was transported by ambulance.
6-26 – Officer met with a resident at the Galva Police Department in reference to a complaint with a neighbor.
6-26 – to meet with a subject at the Galva Police Department. The subject became unruly and was told to leave.
6-26 – to an activated fire alarm in the 00 block of NW 4th Ave.
6-26 – just NW of town to check for a vehicle playing loud music. Officer was not able to locate.
6-27 – to the 200 block of NW 4th Street for a damage to vehicle complaint.
6-27 – to the Galva Cemetery for an abandoned vehicle. Vehicle was red tagged.
6-27 – to the area near Wiley Park for a fireworks complaint.
6-27 – to Sentry Estates for a fireworks complaint.

6-23 – Tyler Stiner, 26, Bishop Hill, was issued a citation for no insurance in the 800 block of West Division Street.
6-23 – Wesley Cully, 28, Neponset, was issued a citation for no insurance in the 1000 block of North Center Ave.
6-23 – Benjamin Kuhle, 26, Hazel Green, Wis., was issued a citation for speeding in the 1100 block of SE 2nd Street.
