Stark County
8-1 – Tracy D. Williams, 28, Speer, was arrested for failure to appear on a Fulton County warrant stemming from charges involving obstructing identification. He was issued a notice to appear in court.
8-2 – Stefanie C. Hartnett, 22, Chillicothe, was arrested on a Tazewell County warrant for failure to appear on the original charge for forgery involving a credit and or debit card. No bond was set and she was extradited to Tazewell County Jail.
8-3 – Robert W. Brockman, 48, Tiskilwa, was arrested for driving under the influence, driving under the influence with a blood alcohol content over .08, illegal parking in the roadway, illegal transportation of adult use cannabis in a vehicle, failure to reduce speed, driving with no insurance and improper lane usage. He posted $100 cash bond and was released with a court date to appear.
8-4 – Maximino Jimenez-Clara, 43, Kewanee, was cited for driving without a valid license.
8-5 – A theft was reported by an employee from the Wyoming Casey’s General Store. The incident remains under investigation.
8-6 – Caleb A. Deck, 45, Peoria, was arrested for driving while his license was revoked, and cited for failure to signal, driving with no insurance, and illegal transportation of cannabis in a vehicle. He posted $250 cash bond and was released.
8-6 – Neomi L. Brooks, 35, Camp Grove, was arrested for driving under the influence, driving under the influence with a blood alcohol content over .08, driving without insurance, illegal transportation of alcohol by a driver, and driving without a valid registration. She posted $100 cash bond and was issued a court date.

8-1 – with a resident at the Galva Police Department for a home repair fraud complaint.
8-1 – to the 300 block of SW 4th St. for an illegal dumping complaint.
8-1 – to the 00 block of NE 3rd St. for a theft complaint.
8-2 – to the 600 block of SE 2nd St. for a forgery and theft complaint.
8-2 – to the 200 block of NW 2nd Ave. to meet a complainant in reference to a child custody issue that was occurring south of town. It was referred to Knox County.
8-2 – to the 300 block of SW 6th Ave. for a dog bite complaint.
8-2 – to the 500 block of NW 8th St. to remove an unwanted subject.
8-2 – to the 300 block of NW 1st St. for a harassment complaint.
8-3 – to the 500 block of NW 2nd St. for a domestic disturbance.
8-3 – along with the fire department and Stark County Medic, were dispatched to an activated fire alarm in the 400 block of Swank St. It was determined to be a false alarm.
8-3 – to the 00 block of SW 2nd St. to assist a citizen that was distraught.
8-3 – to the 200 block of Morgan Rd. for a complaint involving a catalytic converter theft.
8-4 – to the 500 block of NW 2nd St. for a domestic dispute.
8-4 – to meet the other party involved in the domestic dispute at the Galva PD.
8-4 – to the 500 block of NW 8th St. for a theft complaint. While handling the complaint, Robert Kremer, 61, Galva, was arrested for possession of methamphetamine. He was released with a required court date.
8-4 – to the 400 block of SW 4th Ave. for an ongoing neighbor dispute involving property lines.
8-4 – to Route 34 just east of town for a subject riding a bicycle in the roadway at dusk. The subject was advised to stay off the roadway as he traveled to Quincy.
8-5 – to a residence on NW 8th St. to check the welfare of a subject.
8-5 – to the 300 block of Front St. for a trespassing complaint.
8-5 – to the 900 block of N. Center Ave. for a loose kitten complaint.
8-5 – As the result of a traffic stop in the 400 block of NW 1st Ave., Bryce Balaam, 19, of Griffin, Ga., was arrested for speeding 80 mph in a 30 mph zone, not having a valid drivers license and disobeying a stop sign. He was released with a required court date.
8-6 – Officer stopped a golf cart driving in the 100 block of NE 2nd St. containing two adults and two young (unrestrained juveniles). Officer educated them about seat belt usage and driving safely.
8-6 – to the 700 block of NW 1st St. for a report involving criminal damage to a vehicle.
8-6 – to the 500 block of SE 2nd St. for a suspicious person complaint. As the result, Brandon Swank, 26, East Peoria, was arrested in reference to a trespassing complaint that occurred yesterday on Front Street. He was issued a notice to appear for criminal trespass to property and released.
8-7 – to the south end of town on Route 17 to assist Knox County attempting to locate a juvenile who left home without permission. The juvenile was located and returned home.
8-7 – to the north end of town for a reckless driving complaint. The suspect vehicle was located and stopped. Lacey Nordeen, 24, Galva, was arrested for driving while license suspended. She was released with a required court date.
8-7 – to the 00 block of SE 5th Ave. to recover a wallet that had been located by a resident.
8-7 – to the 00 block of SW 2nd St. for a motorist assist for a subject who locked their keys in the car. Tarletons unlocked the vehicle.
8-7 – to a disturbance involving a subject with a knife threatening to harm people in the 300 block of Front St. Brandon Swank, 26, East Peoria, was arrested for possession of a weapon by a felon, possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was taken to the Henry County jail.
8-6 – Danielle Howard, 24, of Rio, was issued a citation for having expired registration in the 100 block of SE 2nd St.
8-6 – Jason Dazley, 40, Kewanee, was issued a citation for having expired registration in the 300 block of SE 2nd St.
8-6 – James Dolk, 68, Silvis, was issued a citation for speeding in the 900 block of N. Center Ave.
8-7 – Dante Weathersby, 23, Annawan, was issued a citation for speeding in the 1000 block of N. C. Ave.

Peoria report
EDELSTEIN – About 8:15 p.m. July 28, Gary S. Hulin of Wyoming was driving a 2015 Buick LaCrosse north in the 19900 block of Illinois Rt. 40 south of Edelstein when it struck a deer, according to the Peoria County Sheriff’s Office. Air bags deployed. Hulin declined medical treatment. A passenger also declined medical treatment. The vehicle had left front-end damage and was towed.
