8-16 – Arthur G. Neal was cited for driving without a license.
8-20 – Beau A. Spencer, 20, Walnut, ticketed for driving on an expired registration.
8-21 – Alexia J. Cardenas, 20, Hampton, cited for possession of adult use cannabis in a vehicle and operation of an uninsured vehicle.
8-21 – Amy D. Hartgrove, 49, Peru, ticketed for speeding 73 mph in a 55 zone, illegal transportation of alcohol by a driver and possession of cannabis by the driver. Also ticketed was Taryn M. Kelchner, 28, LaSalle, for possession of cannabis by a passenger.
8-22 – Tammie L. Holmes, 57, Wyoming, cited for failure to report an accident and for leaving the scene of an accident. Her vehicle was towed and impounded and she was issued a court date.
8-22 – Jesse A. Peed Jr., 24, Kewanee, cited for speeding 80 mph in a 55 zone.
8-22 – Bryana M. Towns, 32, Mohamet, ticketed for speeding 77 mph in a 45 zone.
8-23 – Rashid D. Ferguson, 49, Peoria, ticketed for speeding 88 mph in a 55 zone.

Peoria County Report

8-6 – Donald J. Shaw Jr., 26, of Galva was accused of vehicular and drugs-related crimes after an incident west of Peoria. He was aboard a 2006 Honda Rebel without a license plate about 8 p.m. on Harmon Highway, according to a Peoria County Sheriff’s Office report.
Shaw sped away from a deputy until the motorcycle apparently ran out of gas at Harmon Highway and Airport Road. A search revealed two pipes used to ingest illicit drugs, among other items. Shaw also was wanted in Henry County for aggravated fleeing from police.
After being transported to the Peoria County Jail, Shaw was booked on charges of speeding, aggravated fleeing, no valid vehicle registration, no valid driver’s license, possession of a lookalike controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
8-13 – A Toulon man was arrested following a domestic dispute in Peoria. An officer was dispatched shortly before 2:45 a.m. to a residence in the 900 block of W. Forrest Hill Ave. regarding a report about a man and a woman yelling at each other. The man was 39-year-old Robert B. Turnbull, according to a Peoria police report. Turnbull was accused of domestic battery.
8-14 – W.C. Wilkins, 71, of Wyoming was arrested on illegal-drug charges in Bartonville during a traffic stop. Wilkins was driving a 2004 Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck a Bartonville police officer pulled over shortly after 6:30 p.m. near Adams Street and McKinley Avenue. Wilkins possessed almost $2,200 in cash.
A glass pipe and a bag that contained a white substance that tested positive for methamphetamine were found inside the truck. Wilkins was accused of unlawful possession of meth and of drug paraphernalia. His passenger, 33-year-old Sarah E. Thomas of Chillicothe, was accused of the same crimes.

8-18 – to a residence in the 700 block of NW 3rd Ave. for a city ordinance violation involving chickens without a permit.
8-18 – to the 800 block of NE 2nd St. for a violation of an order of protection complaint.
8-18 – to the 100 block of NE 2nd St. for a scam complaint.
8-18 – to the 300 block of Front St. for a disturbance involving a customer.
8-19 – to the 800 block of NE 2nd St. for a report involving several violations of an order of protection.
8-19 – to the 300 block of Front St. regarding telephone harassment.
8-20 – to the 800 block of NE 2nd St. for a violation of an order of protection. Later that day, Roy Orwig, 47, Kewanee, was arrested for violation of an order of protection and taken to the Henry County Jail.
8-20 – to the 1000 block of SE 2nd Street to retrieve a debit card that had been found.
8-21 – to the 200 block of NW 1st Street for a hit-and-run accident with minor damage only. Officer located the other driver.
8-21 – to the 100 block of NE 9th Street for a domestic disturbance.
8-21 – to the 800 block of NE 3rd Street for a neglected animal.
8-21 – to the 100 block of NE 1st Street for a neglected animal.
8-21 – to Washington Park for a complaint involving a fight that was possibly ready to begin.
8-22 – to the 200 block of NE 4th Ave for a loose-chicken complaint. They were able to cross the road before being recaptured.
8-22 – to the 800 block of NE 3rd Street for a neglected animal.
8-24 – to the 500 block of SW 1st Ave. for a disabled vehicle in the roadway. Officer ultimately towed the vehicle.
8-24 – to the 200 block of SW 3rd St. for a littering complaint.
8-24 – Reina CapDeVilla, 58, Galva, cited for operating an uninsured vehicle in the 300 block of NW 1st Ave.
