Stark County
8-26 – A two-vehicle accident occurred at the intersection of Illinois Routes 93 and Route 91. Drivers were Garrett J. Lass, 33, of Davenport, Iowa, and Brian A. Labedis, 61, Bradford. Lass reportedly was traveling north on Route 91 when he failed to stop at the stop sign. His vehicle was struck by Labedis who was traveling west on Route 93. No injuries were reported but Lass was ticketed for failure to stop at a stop sign and to avoid an accident.
9-8 – Kimberlee J. Strong, Wyoming, reported the theft of packages stolen from her residence.
9-9 – Joshua D. Gravitt, 18, Galva, cited for speeding 80 mph in a 55 zone.
9-10 – A two-vehicle accident occurred at the intersection of Route 93 and Route 91. The drivers were Linnea A. Anderson, 40, of Galesburg, and Thomas A. Worland, 57, Joliet. Worland was transported to OSF St. Francis Hospital by the Stark County Ambulance after being extricated from his vehicle.
9-11 – Braden L. Jones, 46, Galva, was arrested for possession of methamphetamines. He was released with a court date.
9-12 – Joshua L. Harwood, 48, Peoria, was cited following a traffic stop for driving on a suspended license plates due to mandatory insurance, and failure to stop at a stop sign. His vehicle was towed and impounded.
9-12 – Hunter J. Poppenhager, 23, Astoria, was ticketed for speeding 80 mph in a 55 zone.
9-12 – Drake B. Walker, 25, Galesburg, was arrested on an outstanding Kane County warrant for failure to appear on the charge of a conditional released violation for driving under the influence of alcohol. He was taken into custody and transported to the Bureau County Jail awaiting extradition by Kane County authorities.
9-12 – Justin L. Frederick, 36, Kewanee, cited for speeding 73 mph in a 55 zone, and for driving on a suspended registration due to mandatory insurance. His vehicle was towed,.
9-12 – Nydia N. Bossie, 41, Chicago, ticketed for speeding 79 mph in a 55 zone.
9-13 – Krisanne R. Post, 58, rural Princeville, reported the theft of an enclosed trailer and two dirt bikes.
9-13 – Dustin L. Chasteen, 38, Kewanee, was cited for a loud muffler, and use of adult cannabis by a driver. His vehicle was impounded.
9-13 – Derek E. Payne, 34, Bushnell, cited for driving on a suspended registration for mandatory insurance.

9-8 – to the 400 block of E. Division St. to follow up on an incident that was reported on Aug. 17, 2025. Jason Luedee, 52, Galva, was charged with criminal damage to government supported property, reckless driving and improper lane usage.
9-9 – to the 400 block of NE 3rd St. for a city ordinance violation involving junk being stored in the yard. The resident was advised of the upcoming city clean-up days.
9-9 – to the 00 block of SW 4th St. for a complaint involving telephone harassment.
9-10 – to the Galva Police Department for an out-of-control juvenile in front of the building. he juvenile was not cooperative and the parent ultimately left and told the juvenile they could walk home.
9-10 – Officer flagged down by a parent for a juvenile battery near the 200 block of NE 7th Street.
9-10 – Jonathan Israel, 46, Kewanee, cited for speeding in the 900 block of N. Center Ave.
9-11 – Ryan Fay, 34, Cambridge, was arrested in the 500 block of NW 3rd Ave. for driving while license revoked, operating an uninsured vehicle and use of registration not authorized. He was released with a rcourt date.
9-11 – to a residence on Front St. for a suicidal subject who was attempting to overdose on medications. The subject was located and taken by ambulance for treatment/evaluation.
9-11 – Helly Marquez-Contreras, 26, Kewanee, was arrested in the 300 block of Front St. for not having a valid drivers license, operating a vehicle when registration suspended and operating an uninsured vehicle. She was released with a court date.
9-11 – to the 600 block of SE 2nd St. to return a debit card that was found at Wiley Park and turned into the police department.
9-11 – As the result of a complaint in the 300 block of SW 3rd St., Jason Pugliano, 48, Galva, was arrested on a Henry Co warrant for failing to appear on the charge of driving under the influence of drugs. He was taken to the Henry County Jail.
9-12 – Anita Manary, 82, Kewanee, was cited in the 700 block of NW 3rd Ave. for operating a vehicle when registration suspended, operating an uninsured vehicle and improper use of registration.
9-12 – Matthew Henry, 20, LaFayette, was cited in the 800 block of SW 2nd St. for operating a vehicle when registration suspended for mandatory insurance and operating an uninsured vehicle.
