8-25 – David M. Davis, 48, Wyoming, was arrested for domestic battery. He was transported to the Bureau County Jail. He was released the next day with a notice to appear.
8-25 – Justin M. Warner was cited for driving 15-20 mph above limit.
8-26 – Garrett J. Lass, cited for failure to obey a stop sign.
8-26 – James L. Garrett, 33, Davenport, Iowa, was ticketed for failure to stop at a stop sign which reportedly caused an accident.
8-26 – Ana M. Gerrard, 24, Kewanee, cited for speeding 78 mph in a 55 zone.
8-26 – Matthew T. Peed, 22, Kewanee, cited for speeding 76 mph in a 55 zone and possession of cannabis by a driver.
8-27 – Jackie D. Hewitt, 56, Sheffield, cited for failure to wear a seat belt. She was also wanted on an outstanding Bureau County warrant for failure to appear on the charge of domestic battery. She was transported to the Bureau County Jail.
8-29 – Sara A. Smith, 33, Ladd, cited for speeding 80 mph in a 55 zone.
8-29 – Darryl Beasley, 58, Sterling, cited for speeding 73 mph in a 55 zone and driving while his license was revoked. His vehicle was towed and impounded.
8-30 – Darwin R. Plank, 18, Arthur, cited for speeding 80 mph in a 55 zone.
8-31 – Bridget M. Gadd, 38, East Peoria, was cited for speeding 70 mph in a 55 zone, possession of cannabis by a driver and driving without lights when required. Also ticketed in the same stop was Shawna D. Gadd, 34, Peoria, for possession of cannabis by a passenger. The vehicle was impounded.
8-31 – Gregory P. Hackett, 54, Emden, ticketed for speeding 61 mph in a 55 zone, driving under the influence, driving under the influence with a blood alcohol content over .08, improper lane usage and illegal transportation of alcohol. His vehicle was impounded.
8-31- Amanda S. King, 52, Toulon, was arrested for driving under the influence and improper lane usage. Her vehicle was impounded and she was released with a court date.

8-27 – As the result of a traffic stop in the 800 block of NE 3rd St., Anabelle Twomey, 24, Galva, was arrested for driving while license suspended and possession of adult-use cannabis in a motor vehicle. She was released with a court date.
8-28 – to the 300 block of Front St. for a complaint involving harassing phone calls/text messages.
8-29 – to the 700 block of NW 4th St. to assist a citizen apparently suffering from a mental-health crisis.
