• FARMINGTON – According to Farmington Police Chief Chris Darsham, there is a surge in unemployment scams right now. He said, “There are a ton in Farmington and Peoria is getting a bunch, too.” If you receive a letter saying that someone filed for unemployment in your name and you haven’t filled out any forms, contact law enforcement and the unemployment office.
• PRINCEVILLE – Dustin E. Weller, 30, of Princeville was charged on Nov. 19 with domestic battery.
• FARMINGTON – Joseph C. Carpenter, was charged on Nov. 1 with driving on a suspended license and failure to appear in court on a possession of dangerous drugs charge, according to a Farmington police report.
• FARMINGTON – Donald Wykoff, 54, of Farmington was charged on Nov. 2 with failure to appear in court related to a charge of aggravated battery, according to a Farmington report. He posted bond and was released.
• FARMINGTON – Jeffrey Lee, 49, of Farmington was charged on Nov. 4 with a failure to appear in court related to a charge of domestic battery, according to a Farmington report. He posted bond and was released.
• FARMINGTON – A car stopped for a traffic violation on Nov. 6 resulted in an additional charge of illegal possession of adult-use cannabis for Christopher Moore, according to a Farmington report. He posted bond and was released.
• FARMINGTON – Ellis Brownell, 18, of Farmington was charged with criminal destruction of property over $500 on Nov. 9 when he broke the window of a vehicle at the Farmington library, according to a Farmington report. He was given a notice to appear in court.
• FARMINGTON – Both driver and passenger of a car stopped for a traffic violation on Nov. 8 were found to have outstanding warrants, according to a Farmington report. Shauna Windsor, 33, of Canton was charged with failure to appear in court related to possession of methamphetamine, illegal possession of adult-use cannabis in a motor vehicle, possession of methamphetamine with intent to deliver, unlawful use of a weapon, and obstructing/driving while her driver’s license was revoked. Derek Pollitt, 33, of Canton was charged with illegal possession of cannabis in a motor vehicle, failure to appear in court for damage to property, possession of methamphetamine with intent to deliver, and illegal possession of adult-use cannabis in a motor vehicle.
• FARMINGTON – After being stopped for a traffic violation on Nov. 13, Brandon Hutchison, 23, of Farmington was charged for illegal possession of adult-use cannabis in a motor vehicle, according to a Farmington report. • FARMINGTON – After being stopped for a traffic violation on Nov. 14, Erukah Moncrief, 23 of Fort Madison, Iowa, was charged with driving with no valid insurance in the vehicle, according to a Farmington report. The passenger, Cuatarius Harris, 23, of Peoria was charged with illegal possession of adult-use cannabis in a motor vehicle.
• FARMINGTON – A Farmington woman incurred several charges after she struck a man with her car on Nov. 15, according to a Farmington report. Sabrina Wright, 27, was charged with aggravated domestic battery, failure to report an accident, leaving the scene of a personal injury accident, and reckless driving. She has a notice to appear in a Fulton County court. The victim, who sustained a slight head injury, refused medical care.
• FARMINGTON – After being stopped for a traffic violation on Nov. 20, Kimberly Johnson, 27, of Canton, was charged with possession of cannabis manufactured to deliver, according to a Farmington report. Police found at least 50 bags of individual packages.
• FARMINGTON – After being stopped for a traffic violation on Nov. 22, L Scroggins, 48, of West Peoria,was charged with illegal possession of adult-use cannabis in a motor vehicle, according to a Farmington report.
• TRIVOLI – Eric C. Luncsford, 30, of Trivoli, was charged on Nov. 22 with aggravated domestic battery.
• ELMWOOD – A “maroon Ford Fusion” took off and left from a traffic stop on Main Street in Elmwood on Nov. 22. There was no pursuit, according to an Elmwood police report.
