11-27 – Dirk K. Madison – Driving under the influence, improper lane usage, illegal transportation of alcohol by a driver, driving while his license was revoked and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident. Madison was charged in connection with a two-vehicle accident that occurred one mile north of the West Jersey Blacktop on Illinois Route 78.

11-26 – Cody L. Smith, 27, of Toulon was involved in a deer-related vehicle accident at 600E and Sharkey Highway. No injuries were reported but the vehicle sustained estimated damages over $1,500. Tickets are pending for leaving the scene of an accident with vehicle damage, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident and driving an uninsured vehicle. Smith was issued a court date.
11-26 – Herrera Guadalupe Herrera, 53, Kewanee was involved in a deer-related vehicle accident on Illinois Route 78 and 00N. No injuries were reported but the vehicle sustained over $,1500 in estimated damage.
11-26 – The Stark County Sheriff’s Office was contacted by a Wyoming resident in the 100 block of E. Park St. where a 1-year-old toddler was reportedly bitten by a pit bull.
11-27 – Lenita C. Barnett, 56, Galesburg, was ticketed for driving on a suspended license. She was released with a court dater.
11-28 – Peggy L. Johnston, 54, of Wyanet was involved in a deer-related vehicle accident on Route 40 approximately one half mile north of 1700N. No injuries were reported but the vehicle sustained over $1,500 in damage.
11-29 – Marshal C. Jones, 65, Peoria, was cited for speeding 74 mph in a 55 zone.
11-30 – Kenneth D. Curry, 23, Toulon, was ticketed for speeding 74 mph in a 55 zone and for driving a vehicle with suspended registration due to non-insurance. He was issued a court date.

11-25 – As the result of a traffic stop in the 300 block of SW 3rd Street, Steven Mecum, 32, Galva, was arrested for driving while license revoked and operating an off-highway motorcycle on a public roadway. He was released with a court date.
11-25 – to the 300 block of SW 3rd Street for a 911 hang-up complaint. The caller appeared to be suffering from a mental-health crisis.
11-25 – to a single-vehicle accident in the 900 block of SE 2nd St. A vehicle was in the ditch but drove back onto the roadway. An elderly subject attempted to turn into a private driveway and miscalculated the turn. No damage or injuries were reported.
11-25 – to the 500 block of SW 3rd Street for a subject who appeared to be suffering from a mental-health crisis but denied needing any services.
11-25 – As the result of a traffic stop in the 200 block of SE 5th Ave., Richard Sullivan, 67, Kewanee, was cited for operating a vehicle when registration revoked and having expired registration. He was released with a court date.

11-30 – While patrolling, an officer saw a loose dog running in the 800 block of N. Center Ave. The officer told the owner in the 800 block of NE 1st Ave. about Illinois leash laws.
11-30 – As the result of a traffic stop in the 900 block of SE 2nd Street, Justin Frederick, 35, Knoxville, was cited for operating a vehicle when registration suspendedand operating an uninsured vehicle. He was released with a court date.
11-30 – As the result of a traffic stop in the 900 block of SE 2nd Street, James Smith, 61, Kewanee, was cited for operating a vehicle when registration was suspended for mandatory insurance. He was released with a court date.
11-30 – to a physical domestic disturbance involving a knife in the 500 block of SW 3rd Ave. It was determined to be a child custody dispute. DCFS was contacted.
11-30 – along with the fire department to the 300 block of Market St. for an apparent electrical fire.
11-30 – during the Christmas parade to the 300 block of Front St. to remove an unwanted patron. A struggle ensued between the suspect and officer. Michael Thuline, 56, Galva, was arrested for aggravated battery to a police officer, resisting a police officer resulting in injury, two counts of resisting a police officer and disorderly conduct. He was taken to the Henry County Jail.
