1-29 – Latricia S. Runles – Driving on a suspended license, operating an uninsured vehicle, canceled/revoked/suspended registration and front light violation.
Incidents & Accidents
Stark County

1-31 – Steven E. Reiff, of Toulon, reported the theft of the catalytic converters found missing from his motor home. The incident remains under investigation.
2-2 – Paul L. Hinkle, 41, Peoria, was arrested for driving while his license was revoked. He was also ticketed for driving with only one operational tail light, and for driving without insurance. Also arrested in the same traffic stop was Heather M. Riley, 32, Camp Grove, for failure to appear on a Peoria County warrant for battery. She was also charged in Stark County for possession of a controlled substance, bringing contraband into a penal institution, two charges for possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of methamphetamine. She was issued a notice to appear on the Stark County related charges and then released into the custody of the Peoria County Sheriff’s Department.
2-2 – David W. Ensley, 23, Kewanee, was cited for driving without insurance, and for speeding 77 mph in a 55 zone. He was issued a court date to appear.
2-3 – Tanner W. Hall, 28, Peoria, was cited for driving with a defective windshield and for driving without insurance. He was released with a notice to appear.
2-3 – Daniel L. Young, 25, Bradford, was cited for driving too fast for road conditions, improper lane usage, and for driving on a suspended registration. He was released with a notice to appear.
2-3 – Greg R. Petty, 60, Kewanee, was cited for violation of Scott’s Law. He was issued a court date to appear.
2-3 – Emma R. Violet, 18, Springfield, was cited for illegal transportation of alcohol. She was released with a notice to appear.
2-4 – Kimberly A. Shoen, 31, Kewanee, was arrested for speeding, driving with no insurance and driving on a suspended registration. She posted $250 cash bond and was released with a court date to appear.
2-4 – Marie M. Marshall, 22, LaFayette, was ticketed for driving with no insurance. She was released with a court date to appear.
2-4 – Rebecca Muckey, 33, Victoria, was arrested on a Stark County warrant for failure to appear on the original charge for resisting a peace officer. She posted $600 cash bond and was released with a court date to appear.
2-5 – Trisha L. McGuire, 22, Elmwood, was arrested on a pending Woodford County warrant for failure to appear on an original charge for possession of marijuana. She posted $100 cash bond and was released with a new court date to appear.
Galva Report
Officer dispatched:

1-31 – to the 500 block of NW 8th St. for a battery report.
2-1 – to meet with a resident at the Galva PD to file a report involving harassment through electronic communications.
2-2 – to numerous residences around town and requested that they move their vehicles for the snowplows to get through.
2-3 – to the 200 block of SE 4th Ave. for a landlord/tenant issue.
2-4 – to the 600 block of SE Industrial Ave. for a motorist assist involving a delivery truck that was stuck. A wrecker was called and was able to get the truck out.
2-4 – Officer was notified that a train was stopped and had been blocking all Galva crossings for over 30 minutes. BNSF was contacted and the train eventually moved along.
2-4 – Officer met with a wanted subject at the Galva PD. As the result, Rebecca Muckey, 33, Galva, was arrested on a Stark County warrant for failure to appear on the charge of resisting a peace officer. She was unable to post bond and was transferred to the Stark County Jail.
2-4 – to the 1000 block of SE 2nd St. to assist a motorist who went into the ditch.
2-5 – to the 500 block of NW 1st St. for a civil standby to retrieve property.
2-6 -to a residence on SE 4th Ave. to check the welfare of a subject.
2-6 – Officer noticed a crossing arm malfunction at the Exchange St. railroad crossing. BNSF was contacted for repair.
2-6 – to check on a suspicious vehicle in the 200 block of SE 4th Ave.
2-6 – As the result of a traffic stop in the 600 block of SE 2nd St., Paige Weida, 22, Kewanee, was issued citations for having tinted taillights and for possession of adult use cannabis in a motor vehicle. She was released with a court date.
2-4 – Chevy Vaske, 19, Glencoe, Ky., was issued a citation for speeding in the 600 block of SE 2nd St.
2-6 – Cameron Meyer, 22, Galva, was issued a citation for expired registration in the 100 block of Market St..
