Stark County

3-8 – Noah M. Gibson, 20, Toulon, was arrested for disobeying a traffic control device.
3-9 – Chloe M. Wheadon, 22, East Peoria, was ticketed for driving with no vehicle insurance.
3-9 – Delisha F. Simmons, 60, Kewanee, was cited for speeding 66 mph in a 55 zone. She was also arrested for possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. Simmons was also found wanted on a Peoria County warrant for failure to appear on the original charge for possession of a controlled substance. She posted $2,825 cash bond and was released with court dates to appear in both Stark and Peoria Counties.
3-9 – Erica M. Salisbury, 43, Kewanee, was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia. She posted $250 cash bond and was released with a court date to appear.
3-10 – Justin A. Williams, 30, Wyoming, was ticketed for disobeying a traffic control device.
3-10 – James B. King, 23, Wyoming, was cited for disobeying a traffic control device.
3-12 – Antonio S. Martinez, 34, Toulon, was arrested on a Henry County warrant for failure to appear on the original charge for criminal trespass to a vehicle.
3-13 – Paul R. Carlson, 51, Neponset, was arrested on a Bureau County warrant for failure to appear on the original charge for domestic battery. He was taken into custody and later extradited to the Bureau County Jail.

Galva Report
Officer dispatched:

3-7 – to the 300 block of NE 5th St. for an attempted scam complaint.
3-8 – Officer was advised of a high-speed vehicle pursuit southbound from Atkinson. The Galva officer staged near the high school with stop sticks. Suspect vehicle went east on Page Street and was apprehended in Kewanee.
3-9 – Officers executed a search warrant at a residence in the 100 block of NE 7th St. As the result, Alan Yelm, 32, Galva, was arrested for two counts of child pornography and one count of grooming a child. He was taken to the Henry County Jail.
3-10 – As the result of a battery that occurred at the Galva Jr./Sr. High School, a 17-year-old student was issued a juvenile court referral for battery.
3-10 – to the 500 block of SE 3rd St. for a verbal domestic disturbance.
3-11 – to the 800 block of N. Center Ave. for a city ordinance violation.
3-11 – Officer, along with the fire dept. and Stark County Medic were dispatched to the 1000 block of W. Division St. for a possible structure fire.
3-11 – to the 900 block of SE 2nd St. for a harassment through Facebook complaint.
3-11 – As the result of a traffic stop in the 500 block of SE 2nd St., Joseph Evans, 41, Springfield, was arrested for armed violence (Class X felony), possession of a weapon by a felon, two counts of possession of a controlled substance, no valid registration, improper use of registration and no insurance. He was taken to the Henry County Jail.
3-12 – Officer checked on an occupied vehicle sitting in the 300 block of Front St. after all businesses had closed. The occupants were advised to take their extracurricular activities elsewhere.
3-12 – to the 500 block of SE 3rd St. for a domestic disturbance.
3-12 – back to the 500 block of SE 3rd St. for another domestic disturbance. As the result, Robert Brimhall, 55,, Galva, was arrested for domestic battery and resisting a police officer. He was taken to the Henry County Jail.
3-13 – As the result of a traffic stop in the 400 block of N. Center Ave., Victor Lilly, 31, Kewanee, was arrested for driving while license revoked, operating a vehicle with suspended registration and operating an uninsured vehicle. He was released with a required court date.
3-13 – As the result of a traffic stop in the 300 block of NE 2nd Ave., Kimberly Kirwan, 46, Galva, was arrested for operating a vehicle with suspended registration. She was released with a required court date.
3-7 – Melvin Mayes, 58, Chicago, was issued a citation for speeding in the 1000 block of SW 2nd St.
3-8 – Chad Sanders, 45, Woodhull, was issued an adminstrative warning ticket (AWT) for parking beyond the time limit (15-minute parking) in the 100 block of N. Exchange St.
3-13 – Anita Orwig, 52, East Peoria, was issued a citation for no insurance in the 600 block of S. Center Ave.
