Stark County Report

4-10-20 – Alex J. Schierer, 22, Princeville, was ticketed for disobeying a stop sign.
4-14-20 – Joseph W. Tate, 25, Champaign, was cited for driving while his license was suspended.
4-15-20 – Alyssa J. Thrasher, 21, Downs, was ticketed for possession of adult use of cannabis in a vehicle and for speeding 86 mph in a 55 zone.
4-15-20 – Todd A. Kelly, Jr., 36, Bloomington, was cited for illegal transportation of alcohol by a passenger. He was issued a notice to appear.
4-16-20 – Amber N. Oseibonsu, 33, Memphis, Ind., was ticketed for improper lane usage, excessive noise due to a loud muffler, driving without insurance, possession of adult use cannabis in a vehicle, driving without a valid driver’s license, and unlawful display of a vehicle registration. She was released with a notice to appear.
4-16-20 – David A. Taylor, 44, Kewanee, was cited for speeding 75 mph in a 55 zone, and for driving with no vehicle insurance. He was released with a court date to appear.
4-16-20 – A dog bite incident was reported to authorities from the 400 block of North Henderson Street, in Toulon. The incident remains under investigation.
4-17-20 – Jalysa L. Brown, 27, St. Louis, was cited for speeding 79 mph in a 55 zone, and for driving on a suspended vehicle license. She was issued a court date to appear.
4-17-20 – Deangelo L. Washington, 25, St. Louis, was arrested on a Henry County warrant for failure to appear on the original charges for possession of marijuana. He was released with a notice to appear.
4-18-20 – Nathan E. Hurlbut, 36, of Burton, Mich., was issued a notice to appear for speeding 73 mph in a 55 zone and for driving while his license was suspended.
4-19-20 – Pierce E. Brimmer, 27, Toulon, was cited for driving without insurance, and for driving without a valid vehicle registration. He was released with a court date to appear.
Galva Report
4-13-20 – Officer was dispatched to assist the Kewanee Police Department with locating a subject believed to be passing counterfeit currency. Officer was unable to locate the subject.
4-14-20 – Officer dispatched to the 500 block of SE 2nd Street for a hit-and-run accident with property damage only. A witness followed the subject to Kewanee, where a high-speed chase ensued by police. The offender finally stopped and was arrested for several violations in Kewanee. He was also issued three citations for the Galva accident. As a result, Damian Worden, 40, Peoria, was charged with following too closely, leaving the scene of an accident, and failure to report the accident to police. He was taken to the Henry County jail.
4-14-20 – Officer dispatched to the 00 block of SW 4th Street for an illegally parked vehicle. The vehicle was moved to the general parking lot.
4-15-20 – Officer was dispatched to the 700 block of NW 3rd Ave. for a dog that ran away. It was located the following morning.
4-15-20 – Officer was flagged down about a loose dog complaint in the 500 block of NW 8th Street.
4-16-20 – Officer dispatched to the 400 block of SW 4th Ave. for a utility wire that was lying in their yard. Mediacom was notified for repairs.
4-16-20 – Officer dispatched to Sentry Estates in reference to a physical domestic dispute involving a knife. The offender had left in a taxi prior to the officer’s arrival. As a result, Knox County stopped the taxi near Oneida and arrested Timothy Stark, 36, Galesburg for Galva’s charges of Aggravated Assault and Domestic Battery. Stark also had a Hancock County warrant for delivery of methamphetamine. The Illinois Dept. of Corrections also issued a parole violation based on the Galva charges. He was extradited from Knox County jail to the Henry County jail.
4-17-20 – Officer dispatched to assist a transient in the 200 block of Front Street. The subject made arrangements for lodging at the Galesburg Rescue Mission.
4-17-20 – Officer was advised that a subject had fled from a traffic stop that Knox County had conducted several miles south of Galva. The officer was not able to locate him.
4-18-20 – Officer dispatched to the 00 block of SW 4th Street for a dog bite involving very minimal injury.
4-19-20 – Officer dispatched to the 500 block of SE 2nd Street for a suspicious person complaint. The officer checked the area but was unable to locate anyone.
