Incidents & Accidents
7-11 – Diana E. Prindiville, of Toulon, reported the theft of her wallet. Items were later found along the road.
7-14 – Selena Tito, 27, Kewanee, was ticketed for speeding 68 mph in a 55 zone and for driving while her license was suspended for over a year.
7-15 – A 19-year-old Galesburg teen was reported missing to the Stark County Sheriff’s Office. The individual was later located in Bradford.
7-16 – A complaint of a domestic problem was reported from the 200 block of Lincoln Street in Bradford.
7-17 – Chadrick M. Carlton, 41, Toulon, reported the theft of his 15-foot bat-wing mower.
7-19 – Caleb S. Beach, 21, Dunlap, was cited for disobeying a stop sign, failure to wear a seat belt and driving while his license was suspended. He was released with a notice to appear.
7-19 – Amanda A. Goodwin, 41, Bloomington, was arrested for leaving the scene of an accident. She posted $250 cash bond and was released with a court date.
7-20 – Andrea E. Poole, 22, Peoria, was charged with failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, improper lane usage, driving an uninsured vehicle, leaving the scene of an accident, criminal damage to property and failure to report an accident. She received a notice to appear.
7-20 – Justin C. Potter, 33, Wyoming, was arrested and charged with domestic battery. He was transported to Stark County Jail awaiting a court appearance.
7-20 – Braden M. Clark, 23, Mackinaw, was cited for driving without vehicle insurance.
7-20 – Tristan M. Kincaide, 20, Kewanee, was cited for failure to wear a seat belt.
7-21 – An abandoned vehicle was reportedon Township Rd. 600N near Wyoming. The vehicle was towed.
7-22 – Christopher M. Morrow, 20, Wyoming, was cited for driving without a valid driver’s license, driving without vehicle insurance and driving without a valid registration. He was released with a notice to appear.
Peoria County Report
7-11 – Alexia V. Douglas, 23, of Wyoming was arrested at 4 a.m. and accused of aggravated fleeing/disregarding two or more traffic-control devices, reckless driving and driving 1-10 mph above the limit, according to the Peoria County Sheriff’s Office.
7-20 – Charles K. Rice, 36, of Wyoming was arrested at 6 p.m. and accused of obstructing an officer and resisting a peace officer, according to the Peoria County Sheriff’s Office.
Galva Report
Officer dispatched:
7-11 – to the 00 block of NW 4th Ave. for a harassment complaint.
7-11 – to the 900 block of SE 2nd St. for a complaint involving attempted forced entry to a building.
7-12 – to the 00 block of NE 9th St. for a loose-dog complaint. The owner came home to retrieve the dogs.
7-12 – to the 500 block of SE 5th Ave. for a sick or injured red fox. The animal was euthanized.
7-12 – to the 00 block of SW 9th Ave. for a civil complaint involving family members.
7-12 – Officer attempted to stop a motorcycle in the 700 block of SE 2nd St. The motorcycle sped away at over 100 mph. Officer followed the motorcycle for several miles before losing sight of it.
7-12 – to the 200 block of SE 8th Ave. for a battery complaint. As the result, Brittany Cornwall, 33, Galva, was arrested for domestic battery and taken to Henry County Jail.
7-12 – to the south edge of the Galva Park District for a complaint involving six or seven coyotes being seen. Officer was not able to locate.
7-13 – to the Galva cemetery for multiple complaints of a subject driving a car through the grass. Subject was advised to stay on the roadways.
7-13 – to assist Illinois DCFS with a child-abuse complaint in the 200 block of NE 4th St. As the result, Heather Hartman, 30, Galva, was arrested for aggravated domestic battery with strangulation, felony domestic battery with prior convictions and domestic battery. She was taken to Henry County Jail.
7-14 – to the 600 block of NW 1st St. for a burning complaint. Officer informed the resident it was a city ordinance violation to burn on a non-burn day. The fire was put out.
7-16 – As the result of a traffic stop in the 800 block of SE 2nd St., Luis Olivas, 21, Texas, was arrested for not having a valid driver’s license. He was released with a court date.
7-15 – Jamaul Stoudmire, 34, Chicago, was issued citations for speeding and for not having insurance in the 1100 block of SE 2nd St.
7-15 – Ethan Beaman, 19, Indiana, was issued a citation for speeding in the 1100 block of SE 2nd St.
7-17 – to the 00 block of SW 4th St. for a welfare check. A neighbor advised they heard a subject yelling for “help.” Officer located the subject, who had been singing in the shower and said they were fine.
7-17 – to a residence on NW 7th Ave. for an activated medical alarm. Officer entered the house and determined it was a medical emergency for a subject who had fallen. They were transported by ambulance.
7-17 – to the 100 block of NW 6th Ave. for a physical domestic disturbance. As the result, Robert Morris, 36, Galva, was arrested for felony domestic battery and resisting or obstructing a police officer. He was taken to Henry County Jail.
7-18 – to the 300 block of NW 6th Ave. for a semi truck parked along a posted 5-ton roadway. The owner was advised to move it.
7-19 – Officer was handed a cellphone located on NW 1st Ave.
7-19 – to the 100 block of SW 4th St. for a trespassing complaint.
7-19 – to Route 34 east of town for a fully engulfed vehicle fire.
7-20 – After a traffic stop in the 500 block of S. Center Ave., Kody Beller, 28, Galesburg, was arrested for driving while license suspended. He was released with a court date.
7-22 – to the 700 block of NE 2nd St. for a possible prowler complaint.
7-23 – to the 300 block of Main St. for a wild animal complaint involving a raccoon near a parked car. The animal eventually moved along.
7-23 – to the 400 block of S. Center Ave. for a verbal domestic dispute.
7-23 – to the 300 block of NW 1st St. for a dead rabbit on the sidewalk.
7-23 – After a follow-up to an incident involving a firearm on July 18 in the 500 block of W. Division St., Warren Anthony, 70, Galva, was arrested for disorderly conduct. He was released with a court date.
7-22 – Nathan Lyday, 34, Galva, was cited for expired registration in the 300 block of N. Center Ave.
7-23 – A 17-year-old Galva resident got a citation for disobeying a stop sign in the 200 block of SW 6th Ave.
