Hanna City house burns
 • HANNA CITY– A Hanna City home collapsed last Friday afternoon after being fully engulfed in flames and causing a several-hour closure of Farmington Road from McCallister to Eden Streets.
Logan-Trivoli Assistant Fire Chief Chris Matzke said a call came in at about 1 p.m. for a fire on the porch.
The home, located in the 14000 block of Farmington Road near American Pest Control, collapsed within 15 minutes after firefighters arrived as the fire spread.
Four people and several pets made it out of the home safely.
Responding fire departments included Elmwood, Yates City, Dunlap, Brimfield, Limestone, Timber Hollis and Copperas Creek.
