ELMWOOD – A “medical event” may have been the cause of an Elmwood resident’s pickup truck leaving the road at the T-intersection of Graham Chapel and Dogtown Roads in Elmwood. The vehicle then hit the guide wire of a power line pole sometime before 5:45 a.m. on June 21, according to a Peoria County Sheriff’s report.
The wire then pulled the pole down on the truck. Kenneth J. Musgrave, 55, of Elmwood, was pronounced dead at the scene. There were no others in the truck. A toxicology report is pending while police continue to investigate.
