The Lady Indians have raced to a perfect record through the first week of play, featuring a combination of potent, balanced scoring and stingy defense. Brimfield (4-0) opened the season with a 64-32 rout of Princeville, followed up with a 99-28 win over West Prairie on Nov. 18 and last Saturday opened play at its own Turkey Tournament by trouncing Kewanee Wethersfield, 55-15. Farmington opts to give businesses COVID cash

Farmington received $151,109 from the federal government’s American Rescue Plan and the city council has spent the past few months deciding how best to use the money.
