Stark County

5-28 – A 16-year-old Wyoming juvenile was reported missing.
5-28 – Cassel O.R. Taylor, 23, Kewanee, was arrested at the Stark County Courthouse on a Henry County warrant for failure to appear on charges of allowing a dog to run at large, failure to inoculate the pet and failure to comply with animal impound procedure. Taylor posted $200 cash bond and was released with a court date to appear.
5-29 – Terry A. Rummerfield, 21, Wyoming, was arrested for improper lane usage, driving under the influence and driving under the influence with a blood alcohol content over .08. He posted $100 cash bond and was released with a court date.
Galva Report
Officer dispatched:

5-24 – to a business on Market Street in reference to removing an unwanted customer. The subject was removed and received a written letter to avoid the subject returning later.
5-24 – to the 00 block of NE 8th Street for a trash dumping complaint.
5-24 – to Route 34 just east of town for a complaint involving livestock in the roadway.
5-24 – Officer received a complaint in the 100 block of SW 3rd Street about a swimming pool without a fence, a city ordinance violation. Officer spoke with the resident who verified the pool had not been filled with water yet.
5-24 – Officer was flagged down in reference to a harassment/bullying issue from several juveniles at Wiley Park a few nights previously.
5-24 – Officer went to a rural Galva residence in reference to a warrant. As the result, Nicole Nichols, 39, Galva, was arrested on a Henry County warrant for failure to appear on the charge of possession of meth. She was released with a court date.
5-25 – Officer located two juveniles in Wiley Park after hours. They were advised that they needed to leave.
5-25 – to a residence on SE 2nd Ave. to remove an unwanted subject.
5-25 – to a residence in the 700 block of NW 1st Ave. in reference to a parking issue. The subject said they will move the vehicle in question.
5-25 – As the result of a traffic stop in the 300 block of NW 1st Street, Jamar Whiteside-Banks, 26, Galva, was arrested for unlawful possession of meth, 5-15 grams, as well as a Knox County warrant for failure to appear on charges of possession of meth under 5 grams. He was taken to the Henry County Jail.
5-25 – to Route 34 east of town for a subject walking along the road. Subject had a verbal dispute with another subject and got out to walk. Subject was transported back to town to wait for a ride from Altona.
5-26 – to the 100 block of SE 2nd Street for an attempted theft of a riding lawn mower.
5-26 – Officer, along with Stark County Medic and the fire department, were dispatched to a tractor on fire in the ditch just south of the Galva Cemetery. The tractor was a total loss.
5-26 – to Route 34 east of town to remove a shredded tire lying in the roadway.
5-27 – to a sick bird complaint in the 00 block of NE 2nd Street.
5-27 – to the 200 block of NE 9th Street for a loose dog complaint. The dog was returned to its owner.
5-28 – to a motorist assist in the 800 block of NW 5th Ave. for keys locked in a vehicle. Tarleton’s was contacted.
5-29 – to a two-vehicle accident with damage only at the intersection of South Center Ave. and SE 2nd Street.
5-29 – to the 300 block of SW 4th Ave. for a loud noise complaint.
5-29 – to the 00 block of NW 5th Street for animal neglect.
5-29 – to the 600 block of North Center Ave. for a natural gas leak.
5-30 – to check a vehicle parked with its lights on in the 700 block of NW 3rd Ave.
5-30 – to Wiley Park for a complaint involving an adult female smoking a cigarette.
5-30 – to a verbal domestic dispute in the 500 block of NW 1st Street.
5-30 – to a single-vehicle accident with damage only east of Appells on Route 34. The vehicle had hit a deer.

5-29 – Joshua Cerna, 20, Monmouth, was issued a citation for speeding in the 900 block of SE 2nd Street.
5-29 – Jennifer Stanley, 29, Moline, was issued a citation for expired registration in the 1100 block of SE 2nd Street.
