Grant helps school district add EV charger By JEFF LAMPE For The Weekly Post WILLIAMSFIELD – Someday, we are told, there will be electrical vehicles everywhere as well as charging stations to keep them going. While someday has not yet arrived in most rural locales, the Williamsfield School Board took a step in that direction Monday. No decision yet on Elmwood TIF extension

The Elmwood City Council discussed extension of the TIF for approximately 35 minutes during its regular meeting on April 5. While the council is in favor of extending the TIF, aldermen heard that Elmwood Township and the fire department are opposed. Those two taxing bodies have indicated they would rather receive their tax income directly. Elmwood CUSD 322 could go “either way” according to Alderman Bob Paige. Galva preparing for pool opening in May

Brimfield OKs $13,000 repair of park pavilion

By LORI HEROLD For The Weekly Post BRIMFIELD – The Brimfield Village Board on Monday approved a $13,000 bid for extensive repair on the pavilion at the village park. A bid of $13,000 was awarded to Kirk Lewis to do repairs. Board President Dan Fishel said there hasn’t been any work done on the pavilion in years and these repairs should help it last for a long time. Princeville students sing backup for Beatles tribute

Called the Yoko Ono Choir, the group, led by Chris Delbridge, included Princeville students Natalie Bashusen, Chloe Blunier, Brianna Olshawsky, Sophie Noonen and Leah Wieland, Princeville alum Alex Lopez, Midland student Maddy Colby and community member Hillary Hartley.
