Stark County
2-19 – David S. Dailey, 41, Galva, was cited for driving without vehicle insurance and for driving on a suspended license.
2-22 – Jacob D. Tramutolo, 22, Bradford, was ticketed for possession of drug paraphernalia. He was issued a notice to appear.
2-23 – Michael J. Cooper, 21, Peoria, was cited for illegal transportation of adult use cannabis in a vehicle. He was released with a notice to appear.
2-23 – Rachel W. Newton, 46, LaFayette, was arrested for possession of methamphetamine and possession with the intent to deliver. She was taken into custody and transported to the Stark County Jail. The following day she posted $1,000 cash bond and was released with a court date to appear.
2-23 – Matthew R. Hollis, 30, LaFayette, was arrested for possession of methamphetamine with the intent to deliver, driving on a suspended registration and ticketed for driving with only one headlight. His cash bond was set at $7,500. Unable to post bond he remains in custody at the Stark County Jail.
Galva Report
Officer dispatched:
2-20 – to the 500 block of S. Center Ave. for a loose dog complaint. Officer checked the area but was not able to locate.
2-20 – Officer was notified that a repossession was taking place in the 800 block of NW 1st Ave.
2-20 – Officer located an unsecured door at a business on Front St. The door was secured.
2-21 – Officer was flagged down in the downtown area to attempt to locate two dogs that ran away. Officer located the dogs in the 200 block of NW 4th St. and they were returned to their owner.
2-21 – to the 200 block of Exchange St. in reference to a trash dumping complaint. The offender was located and warned.
2-22 – to the 1000 block of N. Center Ave. for a 9-1-1 open line call. It was a misdial from a high school student.
2-23 – to the 00 block of NW 4th Ave. for two 9-1-1 hang up calls. It was determined to be an employee of the phone company conducting test calls.
2-23 – Barry Cade, 30, Neponset, was arrested at the Galva Police Department on a Peoria County warrant for failing to appear on a civil case. He posted bond and was released.
2-23 – to the 00 block of SW 4th St. for a verbal disturbance/harassment complaint.
2-23 – Officer, along with his K9 partner, were requested to assist Stark County with a traffic stop north of LaFayette. Contraband was located and Stark County made an arrest.
2-24 – to a residence on NE 1st Ave. to check the welfare of a subject who hadn’t shown up for work. The subject was located and was fine.
2-24 – to the 700 block of SE 8th Ave. for loose goats in a field.
2-25 – to the 00 block of NW 3rd St. for an activated panic alarm. It was determined to be a false alarm.
2-25 – As the result of a traffic stop in the 1300 block of SE 2nd St., Drew Smith, 33, Kewanee was arrested for driving while license suspended. He was released with a required court date.
2-25 – to the 800 block of NE 2nd St. for a minor two-vehicle crash with damage only. The subjects involved decided to work out the damages among themselves.
2-26 – While patrolling, officer located a sick or injured cat near the roadway near the park district on S. Center Ave. The cat was taken to Stevens Vet Clinic to check for microchip info.
2-26 – to a residence on SE 3rd St. to remove unwanted subjects.
2-26 – Officer was again dispatched to a residence on SE 3rd St. to remove unwanted subjects.
2-21 – Christopher Talbot, 26, Geneseo, was issued a citation for having expired registration in the 100 block of NE 1st St.
